Just saw that former Rutgers QB Tom Savage won his appeal to pursue a transfer to UM or Florida. I havent seen much tape on him but it couldnt hurt to add a veteren QB to the mix
this week in unintentionally grim-sounding recruiting headlines
They're referring to Miami when they say UM.
Joe Schad tweeted this and then said the Gators or Canes...
edit: too slow again
Well if Joe Schad tweeted it.
Good for him, glad he won.
good for him. absent extraordinary circumstances, denying a release seems like it's always the wrong thing to do.
why would he transfer from one uni where he is a backup and unhappy to another uni where he would still be a backup with no hope of ever starting.
I think, as Michigan fans, we should be smart enough to know that when a freshman struggles he doesn't 'suck'
I think this was more a "look at the team I like kicking ass" post from the guy with the Syracuse flag in his avatar than a comment on the kid's actual ability.
A little from column A, a little from Column B.
In column A, he was a sophomore this past season and lost out to Chas freakin' Dodd, and running receivers to injury in overuse of the wildcat.
In column B, he was never right after SU sacked him 10 times his freshman year. They're still picking pieces of Tom Savage out of the dome turf.
In conclusion: Savage is not good, woo Syracuse.
As a Michigan fan, I'd only pick up Savage to make sure Denard has a full gatorade bottle ready for timeouts.
On a positive note he has a cool name
How rutgers and Penn St have treated these kids...they should be released.
He can only come if he brings his brother, Ben. but leave Fred at home.
pics aren't working either? damn you ohio state malware!
