Those crazy stats from the 40-0 win over tOSU... concluding with 3 punts averaging 50 yards per punt!!! Ibelikedang... was there something different about punting back then, did they not stand 15 yards behind the LOS when receiving the kick?  Did they measure it at the time as the distance from the foot to where the ball lands, instead of LOS to where it lands?  Or, was he merely  Captain America in Maize n Blue?

This is what annoys me about whoever came up with record keeping rules. Michigan calls 1949-present "official stats", yet they name pre-1949 stats in publications.

For some reason the single game record for TDs is at 4 by multiple players but Albert Herrnstein's record of 7 TDs against state in 1902 isn't listed.

Thanks for posting, I didn't get to see the tribute on Saturday.

My mom was in a speech class with Tom Harmon at UM.  A recent refugee from Europe, she had no idea who he was.  After class one day, she came back and told everyone at the dining hall about this great looking guy that had given a great speech.  She told them his name was Tom Harmon and they freaked out and she had no idea what the fuss was about.

That was my mother's "cool story bro."

Awesome video.

I missed the pregame and the first 17 points scored...I heard Mark Harmon gave a presentation before the game...is there footage of that anywhere?

More importantly, did he Gibbs-slap Tommy Rees on his way to his seat?
