I will admit that while I remember Tom Brady being taken later on in the 2000 NFL draft, I did not actually remember that it was 199th overall, and even more interesting, between Matt Bowen and Sherrod Gideon, neither of whom are in the league anymore. Actually, I think Dhani Jones went in the 6th round that year as well, now that I think about it, but I am pretty sure that the only active NFL players from that round now (could be wrong here) are Marc Bulger and Tom Brady.
I think that speaks to his tenacity and, as pretty much said near the end of the program, he fights for that spot as the starting QB every day, at least in his mind. You're still all Blue, Tom.
