They got it right. He was a class act in the post show interview as well. Gave all of the credit to his teammates and coaches both past and present. When asked about Manning he was incredibly complimentary toward him.

I've been watching Tom Brady give interviews for the last ten years plus, and he's always been like this. It's never about him. People give him the accolades, but he always shares it with his teammates. It's always about his lineman, his receivers, the coaches. I don't think he ever really talks bad (publicly) about his opponents. He's just the epitome of class. He's a great representative for the Patriots organization and the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers at #11 is just ridiculous.  Don't get me wrong, I love Brady, but as of this moment Rodgers is the best QB in the league.  Not only is he a great passer, he's also mobile and very athletic and beat some of the best defenses in the league. Brady is a great passer, but he works almost exclusively out of the gun and rarely runs.  He's one-dimensional, and good teams figure that out in the playoffs.  This list is supposed to be the best players heading into this season, not the best of the last 10 years.  This was just a popularity contest.

Maybe I should have been clearer, they're figuring it out now.  His last Super Bowl win was the '04 season, last appearance the '07 season.  This countdown was for 2011, that's  my point.  Watching Rodgers play now, who in the world is better?  Brady is one of the best of all time, but RIGHT NOW, no way.  It would be like voting Derek Jeter the best baseball player of 2011.

How about the reigning Super Bowl MVP?  I'll take that.  This is all getting away from my main point, anyway.  If you want to put Tom Brady #1 based on passing yards, fine.  But putting Rodgers at 11 is asinine.  Julius Peppers is better?  Really? Call me when he carries Chicago to a championship, or even just a victory at Lambeau Field.

But you act like GB was a high school team he carried to the championship. If your whole point is "Super Bowl", trade defenses with NE, and does Rodgers still carry them to the championship, or is Brady getting fitted for ring 4?

I think I'm more proud that one of the greatest QBs, nay football players, in the history of the NFL went to my university than I am of anything else associated with Michigan that could make me proud.

Brady certainly gets my vote as a great player who attended Michigan and who has always been a class act and a fine Wolverine representative.

I'm prouder, though, of my two sons, both of whom earned two engineering degrees each at Michigan and who are both now in med school, soon to be docs.

Aaron Rodgers  wait .. what? Since when do great QB's have to run to be great?! Last I checked Tom had one of the best year of any QB in NFL history last year. You can sweat Aaron as much as you want , thats fine he won a super bowl.  38 TD's , 5 int's, 111 passer rating, Even aaron rodgers himself is calling you crazy.

You call him the best QB in the last 10 years... yea thats a gimme. If he gets another ring everyone else will call him the best ever ... that's a gimme.

the 111 passer rating, the 38 touchdowns or 5 ints

here's some more numbers

14-2  thats win- losses in 2010

26- thats the number of consecutive home wins ( nfl record)

319 pass attempts without an interception ( nfl record)

Tom brady had a more more passing attempt , more completetions , more touchdowns

, less interceptions, a higher passer rating AND  more sex with a super model than Rodgers

what did you only read the last part of a post and decide the last sentence summed the entire post?

myself, the players and the entire NFL disagree

I could see your point tho he only set records for being the most efficient passer in the entire history of the nfl last year. /s

/edit poor choice of words his 111 passer rating was 5th all time behind Peyton mannings 2004 , TomBrady's 2007 , Steve Youngs 94 and montana's 89.

Everyone left out the words "First ever unanimous" when talking about the 2010 MVP. Even though this was supposed to be about last year, its still a career ranking to some degree. Rodgers doesn't have enough street cred yet, but its coming. Wasn't he the highest ranked player with only 3 years starting?
