Tom Brady Beautyrest Commercial

Submitted by StephenRKass on

This is a Beautyrest black commercial featuring Tom Brady called "Dream in Black." I've never seen it here at mgoblog. While we're waiting for real content on the board, this is a look at another famous Michigan QB.

FTR . . . I searched carefully to see if this had ever been posted. Couldn't find it under "Brady," "Tom Brady," "Beautyrest," "Brady Commercial." So if this was posted previously, I sure don't know how to figure that out.

EDIT:  Fail, fail, fail. I can't figure out how to embed a video in a new post. Read an mgoblog tutorial, and still failed. SMH. Technologically illiterate. Doggonit.

Thanks for the FTR blurb. I wonder if Tom Brady will quietly leave the public scene once he retires (I'd vote that) or decides to rekindle the Brady-Manning rivalry and averages 10 commercials per year for the next 40 years.

I hate the meta issues of the site . . . can't embed vids, can't page down the mgoboard, speed bogs down with traffic, search function doesn't work well. Sigh . . . still has the best Michigan content anywhere, so what's the point with complaining. Suck it up and enjoy the UFR's.

That I took Tuesday off this week. While today feels like a Tuesday both at work and on the board, I'm content in the knowledge that it's Thursday and Michigan football is only 2 days away. One more day of work and ~36 more hours of "content" until kickoff.

Every time that commercial comes on and I hear Tom tell the guy that he doesn't need anything else. I always get to thinking. "What about some pillows and sheets, Tom? Ask him for some pillows and sheets." I mean, wouldn't that make it a little more comfortable to sleep on? Sometimes silly thoughts just come to mind during some commercials.

That commercial makes the hotel look oppulent - which equates to EXPENSIVE!  So, to open the door on an empty room with an un-made bed seems a letdown.  I wouldn't sleep there.  Of course, if had the money to stay at that place, someone Gisele-like would be there with me.  So yeah, it'd be okay...

And that turtleneck...  No.  Some clothing styles just should not be worn, whether they come in your size, or not.

It sucks that half the content of some posts is a cya disclaimer because people will jump down your throat if something was already posted and scrolled off the page. Not blaming the OP, just saying the paranoia on this board sucks.

You're kinda right. I figured, this must have been posted sometime, right? I mean, it has been out since May . . . never posted at mgoblog? The search function is kinda so - so. And yeah, you have to have a thick skin or solid content, because the crowd can be rough. But in retrospect, I should have just posted it without the CYA stuff. Let the chips fall wherever they may. Can't worry about the restless mob and their fickle feelings.

It occurs to me that this looks like he's about to do something really taboo on that bed. I fully expect that the next cut would be to him taking out a bottle of hot sauce, a rabbits foot, and a rusty fork out of his pocket while he whispers, "It's been too long."

SRK, I am shocked and disappointed that a poster of your experience, stature, and maturity would lose the iron your spine and add these two, yes two, CYA comments at the end. /s

how would anyone sleep on a mattress that (1) is not covered in sheets, (2) comes with no pillows, blankets, plush footballs, etc. and (3) is in the middle of the dang room. I need a wall or a headboard or something.

Yeah, I don't think I would sleep well. But I guess Beautyrest wanted to highlight their mattress. And I will say, I love a good night's sleep, and hate sleeping on a crappy bed. A good pillow, some clean cotton sheets, dark room, quiet room, good mattress, blanket if needed, and I am a happy man.
