Tom Brady to be honorary captain for Colorado game

Submitted by JClay on

Just heard on Rich Eisen show. Have not seen that posted. Apparently also Jordan will not do the coinflip for the first game, Jeter will be doing it. Apologize if not thread-worthy.

Get to work boys.  Less than three weeks from us needing to have the whole "defend Tom's hair" thing done and in the can so everyone's on the same page.

I thought we'd have more time.

That should draw a round of polite applause from the crowd that day.  /s

This is awesome news.  Two all time greats in Jordan (albeit an UNC alum) and Tom Brady for captains in the first couple of games.

I really wanted to see the pregame conference with the officials under this new honorary captain protocol.

We get to see Michael quite often in Charlotte at Hornet games but he rarely makes public appearances locally, even with last year's Carolina Panther Super Bowl run. He went to a couple of games at season's end, sitting in the owner's box and meeting Cam Newton. He doesn't like being a distraction.

Honorary Captain, should be getting ready to destroy Miami!!!!  Wonder if any chance that he might come in a couple days before, get in a couple workouts, spend a little time with a certain QB whisperer?  Can't wait to see him back in Foxboro, even with the haircut!

I very purposely skipped the hair cut thread. Now you're continual discussion is making me curious....
Maybe just a quick peek.

Edit: great, I just wasted 48 seconds of my life. Thanks for that.
Actually, the dancing fat guy was kinda funny.

I've decided to post this question in every thread to see if I can get a response from someone. Can someone help me with figuring out how to verify CAPTCHA on the iPhone app??? Please?!?!?
