Tom Brady and Charles Woodson Brofest
2 of the greatest Michigan football players showing respect and a happy birthday to Charles Woodson. Arguably the best Offensive and Defensive players of all time.

I loved the "blue know it" segment that eisen and Woodson did before the super bowl.

His football resume is second to none!

Chuck Woodson.. still killing it & playing at a high level versus kids nearly 2 decades younger.

Good for the heart and the soul. No chicken soup needed.
October 8th, 2015 at 1:14 AM ^
Damn that was awesome. OP almost gave me goosebumps pointing out that they could be considered best offensive and defensive player of all time.
Has Woodson ever picked off Tom? Or has Tom ever thrown a TD against Woodson's coverage? Would the universe even be able to handle that?
October 8th, 2015 at 5:32 AM ^
Surely all remember that Woodson did force an incredibly important Brady fumble that was then overturned due to the "tuck rule."
October 8th, 2015 at 8:42 AM ^
Incomplete.

NFL playoff history, because it resulted in a rule change, I never noticed in prior replays that Brady tried to leg whip or prevent the defender, No. 54, from recovering the football. Even he thought it was likely a fumble. From the tuck rule to deflategate, Brady has managed to do it his way. BLUE KNOW IT!

Charles Woodson dominates football. 2015: Still picking off passes in the f'ing NFL and leading. Personally don't get it. I was in grad school when he was at UM. I played Lot of sports after. my knees and joints are banged up. not to mention it is harder than ever to stay in shape. Woodson is still playing at the highest level. I just can't compute the data. he must work out 3x per day.
would be funny to do a Dan vs Dave with Charles and Tom Brady.

Not sure about u jack but it's pretty obvious that Charles was made of the worlds finest genetic ingredients. Combine that with world class trainers, dietician's, and physicians and the will to keep earning million dollar paychecks to play the greatest sport on earth in front of hundreds of thousands of adoring fans....
Something tells me you'd ignore the pain and keep right on playing too.

If you were paid millions to be in top physical shape and had access to superior medical treatments I'm sure you would be a specimen like Woodson. Maybe not as athletically talented but in the same great shape.
However 15 years of sedentary office work and slamming beers takes a toll on a man.
October 8th, 2015 at 5:35 PM ^
I am pretty sure that means even being paid millions, its hard to play for that long.

CW is one of the few Heisman Trophy winners to have the same success in the NFL. Go Blue!!
October 8th, 2015 at 8:17 AM ^
Heisman-to-NFL success is Peyton Manning.
Oh, wait ...
October 8th, 2015 at 10:36 AM ^
Great video. I would love to see CW pick off Peyton this weekend, and then do the Heisman pose.

Even as a Bears fan I smiled when he picked Cutler off.

As a Browns fan I instantly became un-mad when I realized he picked off McCown and clinched the Browns fate.
October 8th, 2015 at 10:39 AM ^
And he makes a damn good wine, too! He's like a Renaissance Man.
October 8th, 2015 at 12:17 PM ^
Definitely goes down as one of the greatest Wolverines of all time. Unbelievable that he is 39 and can still bring it on the highest level.
Love the stuff with Rich Eisen as well. He's done a great job in the media of spreading the gospel of Blue as well.

As we speak, proudly wearing my "Water covers 70% of the Earth, Charles Woodson covers the rest" maize T-shirt in Phoenix.
Thanks for all the great memories, and the loyalty, Mr. Woodson.
Celebrated by watching "The Big Chill" last night by acclaimed UM screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, and looking forward to huge Michigan effort to topple NW Saturday at Dos Gringos, Michigan bar in Old Town Scottsdale.
Who would have thought October 8, 2015 would be so different than October 8, 2014? WE WOULD!!!
