Today is Christmas for Chad Carr

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on

A couple Chad Carr updates:

- Today is Christmas at the Carr house. They've told Chad that today is Christmas, so that's what they're celebrating - he fully believes it. According to Facebook, some extended family was over last night for Christmas Eve and they opened presents and everything. And today is Christmas.

- The Michigan team is apparently going to be wearing #ChadTough stickers on the backs of their helmets today.

Merry Christmas, Chad!

I hope this provides him with some happiness today. Merry Christmas, Chad!

Cancer can go straight to hell. Innocent children like him are afflicted with this, while a lot of evil motherfuckers are alive and roaming the earth.

Unfuckingfair.

Really puts sports into perspective. We're hoping for a victory today but Jason and Tammi Carr just want as much time with their son as possible. I'm not a parent but if I had to go through that situation I'm not sure I'd be able to handle it as well as they are. I'd each lose my mind and have to be committed, or turn into an alcoholic. God bless Chad and his family.

I have some friends who live in the Carr's neighborhood and the whole community was trying to get Christmas lights up early to support Chad.  Merry Christmas, Chad!

I'm not the optimistic type.  This just breaks my heart.  I hope he has an amazing day, but it just crushes me that they need to do this because he might not make it to Dec 25th.

This is so fucking sad.  I wish there was a way to just gift people time off our lives.  Like, hey buddy, here's a year from me. Such bullshit that this family has to go through this and this beautiful young child doesn't get to enjoy childhood, adolescence, adulthod and all of live's experiences.

Between Chad, the Russian Jet bombing, and the Paris attacks last night I'm just feeling really shitty for all these innocent victims who deserve so much better.

Every time I see the posts, pictures and stories I can barley hold back the tears...

With a 4 year old and 2 year old myself...I just don't think I would have the strength the Carr family has publicly displayed...

Completely heartbreaking. I can't imagine going through what the Carr family is going through as I have three children. At least the football team was able to pull out the Christmas Day game. God Bless
