Title game predictions

Cam Newton without a doubt will be tough to stop, but the firepower on the opposite side of the ball is equally as good if not better. I have to go Ducks 38- Tigers 35. I guess
I like Oregon's defense a bit more than Auburn even though the tigers have Nick Fairly who is a monster (can we get a guy like that?! This is MICHIGAN!!). Just wondering who people are taking tonight.

Watch Auburn's DL and LBs in the second and third quarters.  They will be coughing up lungs and collapsing with cramps and other "fake" injuries.

Oregon is going to destroy Auburn 45-24.

45-35

I'm hoping the NCAA doesnt have to revoke a national title in 5 years when they take back Cam's Heisman

But everybody (the NCAA and bowl people, etc) get paid anyway...

Depends how much money is thrown to Cam Newton.  I hear that so far Oregon is winning the bid for Cam to throw the game, but Auburn is catching up and may take the winning bid to get Cam to play his best.

My prediction is Cam Newton scores the game winning touchdown with no time left on the clock to give Auburn a 34-33 victory. Cam and Cecil celebrate in the end zone hand in hand and make it rain. The NCAA claims that the celebration as well as the garbage bag full of cash was done spontaneously, so there will be no further actions taken.

Newton unfortunately gets hurt in the first drive in the BCS Championship game, blowing all fan and analyst expectations for a competitive game of unparallelled awesomeness and causing all viewers to switch over to Iron Chef America: Battle Asparagus.  This has never happened before in recent title game memory.

But really, I hope it's as great a game as many of us are expecting.  Two great teams.  Auburn 35-33.

34-31 Quackers win.

Re:  Fairley... I want his talent, not his class.  He is a piece of garbage:

Not to mention he incited the fight that got two of his teammates suspended for the iron bowl.

Yeah, but OSU gave Arkansas the chance to be in the game.  OSU was by far the more talented team.

By the way, guess what the SEC's record in bowl games is this year: 4-4.  Exactly one game better than the Big 10 who did so HORRIBLY.

Auburn might win, they might win easily, but it's not going to be because the SEC is so great.

Auburn 45  Oregon 42

Not long after the game new reports will come out supporting the allegations that Newton did in fact receive money from an Auburn booster, and so we'll not only have another tarnished Heisman, but also a tarnished NC.

Auburn reminds me of OSU with a QB a notch up from Pryor.

The ducks will have them back on their heels all game with crazy offensive and defensive schemes..

I don't think Oregon's blitzing/attacking D will be nearly as successful against a QB who can move and buy time and/or make plays with his legs.  Also Malzahn > Aliotti.  I also think Fairley has the chance to really disrupt Oregon's offense like Heyward did in the Rose Bowl last year.

31-21 Tigers.  Then I throw up about Cam Newton and another SEC championship.

Fairley is good, I just don't think there's much surrounding him.  Oregon will be able to scheme Fairley out of if better than they could handle OSU's defense last year.

I think both teams are evenly matched.  The game will turn on special teams and turnovers, factors that are hard to predict.

The SEC West is playing a different game than everyone else at this point.  Yes, Arkansas lost a nailbiter to one of the top few teams in the country outside the SECW, but the top five teams in that division have to be one of the best collections of talent in one group of teams of all time.

Consider this: Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, and Miss St are a combined 43-2 against everyone else.  The only losses are South Carolina v Alabama and OSU v Arkansas.

Auburn by at least two scores.  I'll say 38-14.
