Usually the refs only allow the home team no/little fouls if they are good (see: Michigan vs. OSU at Value City Arena).
Hmm...
Edit: To whoever negged me, in the 2nd half of that game, OSU was in double bonus and only had 1 foul called on them, so the fouls were 10+ to 1 in favor of OSU at one point. They didn't pick up their first foul until halfway through the 2nd half. I don't think it's ever that lopsided.

There is no sport in the world where referees have as much control as basketball. They always are slanted in favor of the home team, and they are always slanted in favor of the offense.
That trip call was such a crock of shit, the blocking foul on Novak down low was atrocious, I can't watch it.

but the officiating is not the reason Iowa is kicking Michigan's butt. Calls will ebb and flow. This team is just not very good. And Beilein is at the root of their ineptitude.
