Tim Hardaway was just selected for the U19 training camp and will be competing against 16 other young college players for 12 spots.
Looking over the roster I think Hardaway is very good shot at making the final cut.
Is there some kind of glitch here? At the top it says "3 posts," but I only see one reply (by ish), even though I have the lowest threshold set up.
There is always a one post differential between what te sidebar says and what the top of the post says. I think one of them counts the post itself as a comment. So yes, its essentially a glitch.
COYS and lets go Detroit FC!
It's probably from someone who has been "caved." Basically, they got the banhammer and may not even realize it. They can see their own posts, but nobody else can. The posts actually still show up on the iPhone app for some reason or another.
EDIT: If you check the thread on an iPhone you'll see that there is another post that doesn't show up on the interwebz version of MGoBlog.
I put up a tough front, but deep down I just want to be held.
Thanks for posting this, and good luck to Hardaway Jr. on making the final roster.
Beilein, by the way, had mentioned this at the basketball awards banquet, but it seemed to get little attention at the time:
Michigan coach John Beilein also told the crowd that freshman guard Tim Hardaway Jr. has been invited to the USA U19 World Championship tryouts, scheduled for June 16-23 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

What an accomplishment for THjr. I really hope he gets selected. The only other names that are familiar to me are Appling, Basabe and Lamb.
Greetings from Bolivia.

NBADraft.net has a very nice article on Darius Morris.
"The most pure point guard in the draft"
Perhaps someone could link to it or even start a new thread.
I can't do either so do with this what you will.
I do think many would enjoy it.

Great news for TH Jr. And he earned it with his hard work. Congratulations!
Chaos is found in greatest abundance wherever order is being sought. It always defeats order because it is better organized.
Maybe I've never really paid attention enough, but damn I love that pic SanDiegoWolverine...I can only hope it was at one point/is currently you.
I want a healthy Tim Hardaway Jr. returning back to us. Call me selfish, paranoid, whatever, just don't tell me when the season rolls around that he is hurt. Congrats to him and all the players who have been chosen. It is USA basketball folks!
Hard work beats talent...when talent fails to work hard! Go Blue!!
congrats to him. can't wait to see his game next year.
