Tim Hardaway, Jr. ESPN Article
ESPN has a nice video interview and long article on Tim Hardaway, Jr on the front page of the NCAAB section.
It's a pretty good read about making a name for himself outside of his father's shadow.
Tim is definitly a special player-I am hoping his dad does give him some advice that sounds something like stay at Michigan for four years.
I am super pumped to watch the MBB team this year. Last year was remarkable and even though Darius moved to the next level, we are going to be a good team that will play very well in the B1G and NCAA tournament. Can't wait.
THJ will now be the focal point of opposing defenses. He could be a better player this year without it showing up in the box score. Luckily, from every appearance, THJ is more concerned with the W column. Somebody else is going to have to make a "leap" this year. I look forward to another year of watching this team grow.
Interesting article where it seems they're pretty honest about how involved Sr. is in THJ's development and basketball education. It sounds like competitiveness isn't exactly a problem for both men (not shocking).
To me it seems like Sr. is just trying not to burn his kid out, frankly. Which, so far so good.
I think THjr is our best NBA prospect since the Fab 5 era. Maybe Jamal Crawford was up there but he was a 1 & done. Hardaway has all the tools, size, and athleticism. He could make serious noise next year.
Jamal Crawford is the best prospect since Fab 5 and he was a lottery pick. Hardaway hasn't gotten to that point yet and he is very similar to a lot of wing players so he still has ways to go before he's to be considered a 1st round prospect.
I think THJR is a better prospect than the M guard that many believe will be drafted late in the first round this Thursday.
THJ with wings players. THJ has to do really exceptional to be considered to be drafted as a 1st rounder. It's too early to tell though seeing him having a better than expected freshmen season is very encouraging. The problem is there a lot of 6'6" wing players who can shoot, drive, pass, etc. THJ is pretty much jack of all trades but master of none. We'll see after next season.

Sam was talking about this a little this morning and mentioned that Horford has bulked up to 250! Apparrently he has been putting in some work this offseason to bulk up and get a little meatier for that down low, banger position. If Hardaway is going to maintain his stride from beyond the arc. Michigan will need a solid post presence. I like the sounds of this.
Love his work ethic, passion and how he refers to the team constantly in interviews. He's mentally strong and already mature beyond his age. He's already impressed me, but I just have this feeling that he's about to explode to the next level.
I've always liked Tim Sr, and Tim Jr is upholding the family name extremely well. Class young man.
