Early-season day MLB games are kind of a special occasion. There won't be a TIgers open thread 160 more times this summer...unless they are undefeated going into the All Star break.

All pro-sports (not explicitly and primarily concerning former Michigan athletes) are indeed OT per Brian's rules. What you may be thinking of is that pro-sports threads, most especially the ones pertaining to the Tigers/Lions/Pistons/Wings, is one of the few OT topics that are not considered taboo during "On Topic" only season.
