Tigers try to avoid the sweep 4/21
Fister is on the mound for Detroit. Hopefully we can get those bats going early and often while Fister locks those Angels down.
Vip box stream didn't work for me (showed the Orioles/Dodgers instead), but this one is up for me:

Other streams are most welcome!
Go Tigers!
OT: Anyone have a favorite fried chicken recipes?
Wilson is struggling.
Jackson scores. Tigers up 1.
The offense as a whole is cold right now and/or the Angel's pitching is good. Just a week ago we were racking up 10+ hits a night, every night. Give it time.
pitchers came into this series struggling
And the Tigers bat came into the series hot. Things change. It was the end of the long-ish road trip and it was just three games.

Here's what the last five games before today have looked like offensively:
Date | AB | R | H | 1B | 2B | 3B | HR | RBI | BB | SO | SB |
16-Apr | 39 | 6 | 12 | 8 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 6 | 4 | 16 | 2 |
17-Apr | 50 | 2 | 7 | 4 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 4 | 21 | 0 |
18-Apr | 30 | 0 | 5 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 5 | 0 |
19-Apr | 34 | 1 | 10 | 8 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 6 | 3 | 2 |
20-Apr | 31 | 0 | 4 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 10 | 0 |
That's good for a .208 batting average, a .280 slugging percentage and a .270 OBP, if I calculated these correctly. Now would be a good time to turn it around, although leaving six on base already is a little unsettling.
Time for a rally!
We've left the bases loaded three times today.
We deserve to lose.
Agree, personally I think Victor might need an extra day off on Tuesday, he's been in a funk (understandable coming back from his injury) but he's really hurting the team in a prime spot in the lineup.
but we have to step it up. We have too much firepower and not enough bullpen to get into these situations, unfortunately. We should have taken advantage of our baserunners much earlier.
Go Al! Keeping us in the game!
just pitiful....

Tiger related fantasy question. How much longer until Smyly takes Porcello's spot in the rotation?
Smyly was stretched out to 86 pitches in his last outing, he's ready to start. Shouldn't be too long.
