Tigers try to avoid the sweep 4/21

Fister is on the mound for Detroit.  Hopefully we can get those bats going early and often while Fister locks those Angels down.

Vip box stream didn't work for me (showed the Orioles/Dodgers instead), but this one is up for me:

Other streams are most welcome!

Go Tigers!

My stop moms famous recipe Wayne Fonts used to order from her scattering company all the time

this is for like 1 1/2 to 2 ibs of chicken
3 eggs 1/3 cup water About 1 cup of red hot you sauce of choice 2 cups flour throw in some salt in pepper...

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the water. Add enough hot sauce so the egg mixture becomes orange take another bowl combine the flour and pepper. Season the chicken with the salt pepper n flour then dip chicken in the egg then back in flour mix
make sure oil is hot then fry white meat takes about 10 min dark like 15
best if you use peanut oil if not still good

Here's what the last five games before today have looked like offensively:

Date AB R H 1B 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB
16-Apr 39 6 12 8 2 1 1 6 4 16 2
17-Apr 50 2 7 4 3 0 0 2 4 21 0
18-Apr 30 0 5 4 1 0 0 0 2 5 0
19-Apr 34 1 10 8 2 0 0 1 6 3 2
20-Apr 31 0 4 3 1 0 0 0 0 10 0

That's good for a .208 batting average, a .280 slugging percentage and a .270 OBP, if I calculated these correctly. Now would be a good time to turn it around, although leaving six on base already is a little unsettling.

Oh Miggy...le sigh that was an easy DP that turns into a 3 run inning. Still early in the game but the way things have gone the last few days I'd say just get home as soon as possible.

but we have to step it up.  We have too much firepower and not enough bullpen to get into these situations, unfortunately.  We should have taken advantage of our baserunners much earlier.
