Will wait until it's actually confirmed but if true, thank God it's over. Miles wasn't my first or second or third choice (etc.) but he puts up wins and recruits like mad. Just want this to be over at this point.

Why wait for confirmation when we can simply proceed as its a done deal liike aaamichfan states above?  Its much more fun to assume.  It feels like we're rolling the dice with our emotions and if it turns out to be true we'll feel even more exhilarated about it.  Of course, on the flip side, if its untrue, well, that would suck.  Anyone up for some gambling with our emotions?

haha Im with you. I want Gruden but I'll be content with Miles. Dude is a winner, and a great recruiter. Sure, he does some strange things, but if hired, Im sure he will give us mgobloggers plenty of things to write about. Hopefully good things.

I can't help but feel "meh" about Leslie. Not nearly as excited as I was 3 years ago, but seeing how that turned out, with LM we'll probably be playing for the MNC within 3 years.

Yeah, previous record was exactly why I was pumped about RR. Except RR wasn't almost 60, didn't have a reputation of questionable play calling, clock management, and recruiting.

All I'm saying is, I don't know what to think. And I don't think its at all unreasonable to have some misgivings about LM despite all the plusses. I'm not too pissed, but not too excited either. Just, "meh".

RR was younger, but the others certainly applied.  WVU fans were appalled at his game management in that Pitt disaster.  And there was a lot of fear on Michigan boards that he'd recruit a bunch of Pacman Joneses.

But in regard to past history, averaging 10 wins a year in the SEC > averaging 10 a year in the Big East.

and while his defenses at LSU have been good, the offense there sucks, particularly this year (92nd).  Let's hope he brings with him some better ideas on offense.  Though RRod is gone, I still think some concepts of the spread should be retained with the new coach.

Then how is it that LSU has a shitty offense but runs wild in a BCS bowl and beats the Bama D but we have a great offense that does nothing against OSU and Miss State?
