and promptly heard the announcer say one team was getting pwned. That's just kind of weird. I think the team being pwned was California right?

for having an open thread.
As an avid fan of the XFL(RIP)I can honestly say that it was a more entertaining product than the UFL.

The XFL at least put a different spin on the game. The UFL is just the NFL with a new coat of paint. It's a pretty dumb idea, really. You aren't going to attract as much interest in your league if there is nothing special about it. I'll stick to college and the NFL. The XFL had some interesting rules and changes in the overall game. I can't see the UFL gaining much steam.

was a different product. The UFL is the same as the NFL, only... you know, bad.

I have a serious question. Why would anyone watch the UFL over college football other than curiosity?

have the same color scheme? This is the 2nd game I've seen while flipping around tv, the other was Las Vegas and someone and all 4 teams wore pretty much the same colors.
If so....how stupid

The teams are definitely going for a fresher and brighter color scheme. It's kind of like what the seahawks have done with their jerseys recently, but a little weirder. Definitely trying to attract the younger audience.

are all the same pattern but with different colors. I was looking at the website and it looks like each team only has one jersey so the colors need to be crazy so they don't conflict.

Question can some college teams beat these UFL teams? Or better can UM beat any of these teams? I see "They are who we thought they were!" is coaching.
October 22nd, 2009 at 9:52 PM ^
I have no idea if Michigan can beat these teams because I'm not really watching it. From what I understand, though, a good amount of college teams can compete with these teams based on these teams being composed of NFL rejects.
