I was surprised to see Miami at #10. They sure crept up and at this point I'd bet they're almost a lock for a BCS bowl. The only likely loss being @FSU. That may all change though with the ACC's propensity for having their top 10 teams choke on applesauce against the Purdue's of their league

They are from a lock. In fact right now it is highly unlikely they will get to a BCS bowl. There only way there is probably to win the ACC. A win over FSU and loss in the ACC title game could get them in, but right now they are decidely behind Clemson and FSU.

I expect Miami to win soundly, but I'm excited for this game, because it's a night game @ North Carolina. The place is already rocking.

Go Tarheels. I enjoy when those in front of Tech lose :)

Sad to see them talking about Miami blocking so well. One day we'll be able to block too

After last week you'll be able to watch almost any NCAA Football game and feel jealous. It sucks.

It seemed like everything was great about the coverage except for slightly misjudging the leap, not getting a pick and Miami getting a big play there.

Miami is outgaining the Tar Heels but yet have been held to two field goals. North Carolina is giving up about 7 yards per snap but they've held firm when they needed to do so.

UNC can pick up a 3rd and 1. Ugh.
October 17th, 2013 at 8:46 PM ^
Bryn Renner self-sacks on what would have been a pretty good toss for a nice little gain. Pretty sure the call on the field gets overturned in this case.
....and it is. The Tar Heels will now attempt a 47-yard FG....which promptly gets blocked and returned for a TD by Miami. Whoops all over the end of that drive for North Carolina.

has one loss to LSU who they were competitive with in a rainstorm in Baton Rouge. They nipped Miss St and Ole Miss, most probably thought they'd lose those two games.
They finish with @ TAM, Florida, @ Arkansas, @ Tennesse, Georgia, Alabama
They could very well lose all 6 of those. Definately overrated right now but its the SEC so they must be awesome right?

Know what you mean but @ Utah is 2015. In Ann Arbor 2014.
Which is actually worse maybe since that will possibly be Shane's first game as the starter.

As of the end of the third quarter, there have been over 800 yards of combined total offense in this game, with both teams moving the ball at a rate of about 6 or 7 yards per snap throughout the game to date. There have been only 11 or a combined 27 third downs converted, however, but then there are about 35 first downs in the game right now.
