ESPN is carrying ACC action tonight - Virginia vs. North Carolina.
As we pick up the game, it is 0-0 with 9:47 to go in the first quarter. An exchange of stunted, bumbling drives started the game basically.
If only it were the Bears, eh?
Now, it is North Carolina up 7-0 after the Virginia secondary covered the "other recevier" and Eric Highsmith sort of jogged nonchalantly into the end zone.
That being said, North Carolina has also learned how to make this same mistake and Virginia is now on the edge of the red zone.

Ya UNCs uniforms are awesome. Thats about all that is interesting about this game.
THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS
Can someone explain why I see Virginia gear with "Wahoos" written on it? Is that Virginia's version of the Cameroon Crazies or the Maize Rage or something similar? I always thought Cavalliers fit Virginia pretty well, that just seems like it came out of left field.
"Wahoos" has been UVA's unofficial nickname since forever.

Virginia just got a first down by literal inches on a 4th and 1 play, and then Perry Jones stumbles about 7 or 8 yards on what will be counted as "rushing" all the same. 1st and Goal for the Cavaliers, finally giving their defense a nice rest for the first time in this half.
EDIT: Phillip Sims threw what could be described as a "terrible excellent touchdown pass". The lead is cut to four points - 14-10 Tar Heels after the PAT.

Dolphins fan in the midwest, I'll use the rare chance their on tv to watch them. I admit it's a terrible game/matchup otherwise.
North Carolina facing a 2nd and 19 on their own 21 and they manage to run it to the 22 yard line for a 3rd and 18. It is the little victories after all...
Larry Fedora decides not to go for in on 4th and 9. Virginia gets the ball backat their own 21 down 20-13.

ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the new face palm guy
...drink...this is a terrible idea
I'm not a big fan of the logos but I'm really liking UNC's uniformz tonight. Their color scheme is one of the few that actually works well with the chrome ornament look.
