Narduzzi's on...didn't know that he donated a bunch of money to Pitt to show his committment to their program after their rotation of coaches.
Both teams 6-1 and could easily be, and probably should be...7-0.

Result: Touchdown Carolina.

Very strong Thursday night lineup...much better than what we're going to get at noon on Saturday.

Go Temple
That's actually a pretty weak slate of games. One matchup of top 25s?
GA unranked at 5-2 seems odd to me. Ok they got spanked by Bama - most teams in this country would. And lost by a TD to TN @ rocky top. That might be an interesting game to see if they can take out UF. Mostly meh otherwise.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:13 PM ^
It's a great day of games to have TVs on or be out at the bar and halfway paying attention until something cool happens or the 4th quarter of close games.
Not a good day for watching from beginning to end.
In fact, I don't think I'll watch the first half of any of those games except the 10:30 and 11p games because I'll probably be sleep by halftime.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:11 PM ^
I took a quick look yesterday at the upcoming games for the next 2 weeks and there was basically a bunch of snoozers. None of the undefeated teams start knocking each other off for a few weeks. Oh well, Michigan is on from here on out so I'm happy.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:09 PM ^
Noon games usually are a bore anyway, so that isn't surprising.

Reckon I hate the pink stuff. Good cause, raise awareness, yes. It costs money to make the pink stuff. Instead, donate the bloody money to research.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:11 PM ^
You'd just be donating but not making the rest of us aware of something we'd never be aware of if we didn't see the pink stuff.
So yes, it costs money...but my awareness is now aware.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:12 PM ^
but are you fully aware?
/too soon?
October 29th, 2015 at 7:23 PM ^
I think people know by now that October is cancer awareness month.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:26 PM ^
I was joking.

My wife says the exact same thing....drives her crazy. And she's the demo they're doing this for!

You're naive if you think the pink stuff in football is to raise awareness. It's entirely a marketing ploy and not just for the money made selling pink jerseys and hats. It's to bring in female fans year round, make football seem like a family affair instead of just for the guys. The NFL has tapped all it can from the male market but there's another 50% of the population they can target by pretending to give a rats ass about breast cancer.
October 29th, 2015 at 8:23 PM ^
they only care so they can get more female viewers...and sell pink stuff (I think the NFL donates a laughable percentage of pink stuff sales)
October 29th, 2015 at 8:24 PM ^
This is the same sport that bristles at the idea of giving a bit more money to the players on the field; if they could trot out a new color uniform each week and convince people they are doing it for "the cause" and not "the attention/money", they would.

I don't think I've ever seen a game from Rynerson on National TV. Attendance should be interesting.
October 29th, 2015 at 8:26 PM ^
I think this is the first time I've ever seen an Eastern home game on TV. Actually sounds like a few hundred people are there (attendance record perhaps?)

October 29th, 2015 at 7:20 PM ^
I will be biting my fingernails all day long in anticipation of that 11PM Arizona / Washington matchup. I might have to drink all day just to make it through until kickoff...
October 29th, 2015 at 7:24 PM ^
But I actually like those super late night Pac 12 games. Usually Arizona, Washington, Washington St., those types are on.
It' solid football and the Pac 12 plays a good brand of football. More defense than the Big 12 and more offense than the B1G.
When Michigan wins, there's little I like more than that late night matchup where I don't have a rooting interest, but the fans are still out and it's still a good matchup.
Bet I'll watch it.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:29 PM ^
I, too, love the really late night games. They're especially great when Michigan won earlier in the day and I can just relax and enjoy football until 1:00 AM or later.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:21 PM ^
May be the worst QB who's extremely productive...ever.
His numbers are insane, but so are his mistakes.
I try to act like I have a 2nd team and UNC is it, but truthfully...after Michigan, I couldn't give a shit about anyone else. But I at least try to pretend like I care.
I've followed Williams and he's got to be infurating for those who actually root for the Tar Heels.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:25 PM ^
Probably going to watch the Pats/Dolphins tonight...none of the college games get my juices going. TCU is going to be a blowout...Pitt vs NC might be interesting but that'll probably be a trouncing as well.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:30 PM ^
Any college ball trumps any NFL ball. Not even Tommy B can take my attention away from NCAA football.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:31 PM ^
I like college ball as well but blowouts don't do much for me unless it's Michigan doing the blowing out.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:49 PM ^
I normally agree. It will be interesting to see if the Fin's are for real or not, after this mid-season coaching change. I hope the Pat's take them to the cleaners. I'm going back and forth between the Pats and Pitt.
October 29th, 2015 at 8:13 PM ^
If the fin's what are for real?
October 29th, 2015 at 8:34 PM ^
Someone mentioned they may actually be fielding a football team. The Dolphins. I'm sure, but not fully sure you were being sarcastic.
EDIT: Oh, I get it. Thanks.

I was just bustin' your balls, mate.

He certainly went to the "Mark Dantonio School of Grumpy Coaching Faces". Hope they lose by multiple TD's.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:37 PM ^
Looks like it will be Oregon/ASU as I workout. Solid lineup of games.

Appropriately, they take a lot of safeties.
October 29th, 2015 at 8:23 PM ^
No way in hell I was going to Eastern, way too close to home. I chose Central and Northern was my safety school.

that game might take a while to play
October 29th, 2015 at 7:46 PM ^
I watched that Pete Carroll video on tackling.....it's nothing new, it's called wrapping the ball carrier up, what a concept.
Guys today just want to make a big splash hit and don't wrap guys up, it pisses me off, I hope that videp does actually bring back fundamental tackling back.
October 29th, 2015 at 7:47 PM ^
That was a terrible PI call.
