Thursday night football - open thread

Submitted by Voltron is Handsome on

For anyone who wants to get away from the ridiculousness that is the Michigan football program for a night, there is football to watch tonight. Tonight's slate features:

UCF at Houston, 7:00 on ESPN

Florida Atlantic at Florida International, 7:00 and not on television

Arizona at Oregon, 10:30 on ESPN

I'm not a big NFL fan, but the Vikings play in Green Bay at 8:30 on NFL Network.

I'm watching the NFL game hoping I didn't make a mistake benching Cordarrelle Patterson this week, but looking at the weather.... I should be good in my fantasy match up this week.

I'm also going to watch the Arizona & Oregon game until the 2nd quarter because it will likely be over by that point.

That's what everyone said last year.... until 00:00 came up on the scoreboard and it looked like exactly the opposite of what everyone had predicted... I'm just hoping for a good game.

Cognitive dissosance with RR haters IMO...  I'm gonna keep liking the guy because I think the way he was treated in A2 with the beginning of the loss of integrity of this program. Right now I am sitting here wondering if there is any integrity left with Brandon and Hoke both obviously lying and negligent in their actions  --- and nothing is being done.  If there was integrity, they'd be gone already.

So that whole RichRod can't play defense thing? He's not doing too shabby so far in arguably the toughest place in America to win a football game.

Eerily enough, I'm rooting for him.

Didnt realize Fisher was hurt.  He was their RT when their All Conference LT was hurt preseason, and moved to the LT.  So now they dont have either tackle playing.
