Thursday Night Football Open Thread
High scoring matchup expected between Denver and San Diego. Peyton Manning is a lock at this point for the MVP and has 3 games left to throw 6 TDs and break Brady record of 50 and 955 yards to break Brees' yard mark of 5476.
Also how is/did everyones fantasy seasons go? I for one am glued to watching this as it is semi-finals and I am going to get destroyed going up against Manning and having lost Gronkowski.

I was the #1 seed in my league and as soon as I saw the snow in Philly, I knew I was in trouble. I got absolutely smoked like 110-55 or something.

I feel your fantasy pain. I'm facing a team with Manning, Moreno, Decker and Keenan Allen. Hoping for either a sluggish short week performance or a natural desaster.

Had a promising fantasy team and was 4-0 before it all went to hell. Vick got hurt and although I planned for that with having Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck they each had some clunker games at bad times for me.
Between Alfred Morris, Frank Gore, and Giovanni Bernard I kept leaving the wrong guy out.
James Jones got banged up and then lost Rodgers, Reggie Wayne went on IR. Steve Smith did bad. I had no receiver that I started the season with.
Tony Gonzalez was either awesome or horrible week to week.
Oh and my conservative bidding strategy (auction league) stopped me from bidding more for Manning because I mean...c'mon quarterback, even though I had him pegged for a really good year (but not the insane one he has had).
I had a great year last year though so can't complain too much!

Wow, we have pretty much the same team, and issues. Morris and Bernard are enough to drive a man to drink. Was doing okay till Rogers went down, since then its been a sad string of Keenum, Flynn and Palmer. Just kept my head above water long enough to sneak into the playoffs and am now just waiting for the Manning guillotine to fall...

I picked up Philip Rivers in the 12th round and he's turned out to be a top 5 QB. I was also able to pick up Reggie Bush in the 6th round, which I considered the steal of the draft.

Go Rivers and Go Decker! I'm the semi-finals of my league and I have favorable match-ups against my opponent. Currently projected to win 129-104. Obviously projections mean crap, but I still have high hopes. I ended up as the #2 seed in the bracket b/c when I was playing the #1 seed, Rodgers got hurt. I ended up losing that game 75-69. But I was able to pick up Nick Foles(thank GOD!) off waivers. Confused as to why I have 2 QBs? In the league I'm in, we can play a QB at the flex position.

I have Matthews and Allen in this game. I need a decent game from both as my opponent has Graham and Megatron. I do have Dez Bryant and Nick Foles with good matchups.

1 seed in Fantasy Playoffs. Lost to asshole in Round 1 (of 2) last week who had the Chiefs Defense (39 points in my league). I played Stafford instead of Romo and Michael Floyd instead of Keenan Allen. Partially my own Mangerial skills fault but srsly KC Defense, go eff yourselvs.
Also...Sticky situation. What do you guys/gals do if a member hasn't paid yet? He Could win the whole thing and has 2nd place at the least. I'm the Commish and am not quite sure how to settle this one.

Tonight is big for me. I have Rivers, Moreno, D.Thomas, and Mathews going. I hate starting four guys on a Thursday night, but it was my best lineup this week. Our league gives bonus' so I'm still holding out hope for a big second half.

I didn't make playoffs in any of my three leagues...
See, I had this theory that since there was more passing I could avoid taking wideouts early... and when I did it was andre johnson who was good once...
outside of alshon jeffery (who I took in all three leagues) I don't think I made a single quality pick because:
I believed in trent richardson
I usually had two quarterbacks and I always sat the wrong one.
I drafted montae ball in every league...
I made no quality trades.
oh yeah, and I loved pettigrew so I waited at the TE position...
