This KSU defense is good.

LOL what an interception...

Man I hope our DL is taking notes from KState, lots of tipped/batted down passes, just got an INT off of one.

Who thinks Gus Malzahn's sweater is cool? Good job Under Armour.
And thanks for nothing, Dave Brandon.

So, anything with a Smurf in it involves a short screen, Batman can dictate run depending on his position on the poster and Spiderman means that Malzahn will gyrate on the sidelines imploring the center judge to spot the ball so "super tempo" can proceeed unabated. I think I am decoding this right.

He was lumbering down the field too. Just looked completely awkward...

Never heard of it...

Get em K-State!

I wonder if this if the farthest north Auburn has gone for an OOC in X years.

at West Virginia in 2008.
Its only their second road non-conference game since 2002 when they went to USC.

Jesse Palmer employing a high volume of nut hugging pre K-State Touchdown...
September 18th, 2014 at 8:40 PM ^
Hard to know how to root here.... dont want MSU in the playoffs and the more SEC upsets the worse for that scenario (also Oklahoma or Baylor need to get in). On the other hand I'd love to see the SEC get destroyed in an OOC.
September 18th, 2014 at 8:45 PM ^
No way Alabama isn't automatic, PAC has the beat on MSU, Oklahoma and probably SEC #2 (LSU) just based on ESPN.
Sparty fans cry, as usual. B1G got ruined by Oregon and Purdue.

And Michigan.

Kansas State's classes:
- 2013: 66
- 2012: 59
- 2011: 69
- 2010: 63
Easily the coach who does more with less among all peers.
Auburn's rankings? Just take Alabama's and add 4-6 every year. On paper, Auburn's athletes should make this non competitive.
September 18th, 2014 at 9:52 PM ^
There is a bit more to it than that. KSU generally takes a lot of JUCO transfers, which allows them to be experienced year in and year out.
http://www.sbnation.com/college-football-recruiting/2012/10/30/3575750/…
The above article is from 2012, but it still is holding true. Looks like this year they took in 7 more JUCOs.
That's not to say that Snyder isn't a good/great coach, just that the recruiting rankings don't tell the whole story.

KSU just giving Auburn those 7-8 yard passes

September 18th, 2014 at 9:01 PM ^
This has been an ugly 1st half... I just knew he'd miss that FG the way the game has been going.
September 18th, 2014 at 9:02 PM ^
For the most part, KSU's defense is not making this easy for Auburn - the Tigers are getting a shade under 5 yards per play on average right now. This is the first team they've run into that has some ability to, you know, get in front the play and stop people and take them out of warp, if you will.
September 18th, 2014 at 9:33 PM ^
Body bag games don't interest me any more for that very reason. No one wants to watch Michigan inevitably crush an overmatched MAC squad, except for that one time in 2008.
September 18th, 2014 at 9:02 PM ^
Jesse Palmer sucks. No one would think K State would still be in this game? I thought and still think they have a very good shot of winning.

And the NFL game is awesome... Atlanta on pace for 100 pts while the Bucs have a goose egg on the scoreboard.

As disturbing as that was, imagine morphing someone into Mike Mangino. In another universe, if he were still at Kansas and this happened, we would probably be saying, "Drink until you are neurologically unable to process visual information", although the Weis morph cam disturbingly close.

September 18th, 2014 at 9:38 PM ^
Not watching but I heard Hester just got a taunting penalty. Such a joke the way the NFL wants to pretend this is little league with no celebrations.

Why should no one be allowed to celebrate after scoring? I personally enjoy seeing soccer players celebrate. These guys are not robots.
