Thursday Drinking Thread

Figured it's 5 o'clockish and might as well start the drinking thread.

I'm taking the train from DC to Chicago tonight thru 8:45 tomorrow morning because what the hell I need to use some of these Amtrak points.

Decided to go very basic with my cooler of brew: 9 pack of Miller 16 oz. screw tops. Will be switching beverage of choice in a little once I see what's available in the cafe car. What're y'all drinking tonight?

Long time reader, first time poster. Pleasantly surprised to find the 3 Floyd's/New Belgium collaboration Gratzer Ale here in California. Very good, slightly smokey, slightly sour, all around a great beer. Now sipping on a Speedway Stout, very strong but smooth enough to balance it out. A successful Thursday night.

Thanks for the replies! I look forward to contributing more. Although that may be more in the drinking threads because I probably cannot top the football insight already here. Yeah, been in California for the past year and will be here for many more finishing up grad school.

i'm not enough of a fan to have studied his latest games and box scores, but the last few weeks i've seen his line scores they all seem to be pretty good.  no more 22 pitches, 14 hits, 7 earned run lines.   change for good or just a good patch before the wheels come off again?

As someone who can't stand Phil Coke, it would appear you're right, as of late.  His ERA is down below 5 (which is saying something considering how high it was).  He has been in during mostly low-pressure situations, so I'm not sure if that plays a role or not.  But he's throw up zeros pretty consistently.

I've been listening to Sound Remedy on Hypem all night. Enjoying a good remix of original music and remixes. Anyone have any recommendations?
