Three OSU Players Linked to Alleged Rape
If you never been on osu campus the crime rate is high somebody always getting robbed people disappear
or was it an alleged rape? There are plenty of places to go read about these things. I don't especially care to see them posted until they are a bit farther down the path toward guilt.
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift

"Oh no, no, I'm not in the group yet. No, I'm afraid I just blue myself."
Tempting as it may be, let's not use this as an excuse to berate OSU. Whether or not its true, when it comes to sexual assault, there's nothing funny about it.
I'll get down from my soap box now.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
Its unfortunate, and hopefully doesn't involve players. If it does, the fanbase will not support the players in question anyway.
Reported in November. Search warrant in March. Is that kind of delay typical?
i would say its a little long but one thing is usually sure is that if it has taken this long they have their facts straight and a soild case. the town i live in has had a investagtion going on since nov. on a firemen stealing money from the union and a charity and it just now came out.
Vice.com
Definitely weird that it was reported in November and no warrant till now. If in November, it could've been during the season.
New Orleans-based Wolverine fan.
Whatever is the outcome, I just hope Ohio does not pull a Notre Dame and properly investigates this incident.
If they were in fact innocent, I hope they are acquitted or the charges are dropped. If they were guilty, I hope they are convicted.
But....but....but.....what about the Circle of Trust??? Someone has some 'splaining to do....
BTN broadcast guy talking about Nik Stauskas~" He is the best import since Molson"
Plenty of speculation on 11 Warriors as to who the 3 players are. I'm not listing them, you'll have to click through. http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2013/03/20458/report-three-ohio-state-foot...
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
the most amazing comment on 11W is that someone said the media blew up the tat5 case because TP's mom bought him a car at fair market price. lol wut??
Vice.com
I gotta give props when I see it. The overall tone of the comments on that thread is entirely too reasonable and sane. What in the world is going on???
Best one I saw: "Urbz doesn't fuck around with this shit!" Dude, Urban Meyer is hated throughout football because of how much he looks the other way... Buckeyes only believe what they wanna believe...
He looks the other way so much he dismisses a future heisman winner from his team cause a lot of coaches decide thats a good idea. I wont claim Urban Meyer is any better than any other coach but he isn't the slime that michigan and now florida fans try to make him out to be. Read the arrest reports of most of the kids he allowed to stay on the team, a good portion of the kids never got convicted of anything. And yes he did have a lot of kids arrested while at florida but i bet if coach hoke and co. were in florida and not ann arbor the arrest rates would go up for them as well
oh so Florida the state is the problem? How many players from Ohio has been arrested over the last 10 years compared to Ann Arbor? Dont act like the culture in Columbus is better than Floridas.
Vice.com
I am saying there are more potential distractions in florida than in ohio that could lead to a kid getting into trouble and actaully coach hoke has had 8 players arrested since he's been the coach at michigan thats more than ohio state has had in the same amount of time....
I played in Gainesville, Columbus, and Ann Arbor. I also trained for a summer in Bradenton. I did not encounter a single distraction in any of those places that isn't more available in Ann Arbor. I would argue that there are more distractions in Evanston/Chicago and Ann Arbor than there are in Gainesville or Columbus.
/my two cents
OSU arrests under Meyer:
Brionte Dunn, Dominick Clark, Jack Mewhort, Jake Stoneburner, Storm Klein.
Michigan arrests under Hoke:
Fitz Toussaint, Frank Clark, Will Campbell, Josh Furman, Marvin Robinson, Darryl Stonum.
Hoke has 10 more months on the job and 1 more arrest.
Stones. Glass house.
this seems like a strange thread to upvote
"What" ain't no country I ever heard of. They speak English in What?
Did they rape the kicker who wanted water?
Never forget our Vets!! Some gave all, all gave some!
Lol like Ohio would keep it class if the tables were reversed.
Never forget our Vets!! Some gave all, all gave some!
That boils down to: "We should act like Ohio fans." That might be the single stupidest thing ever written on the Internet.

ProcheGoBlue, we're supposed to be above this sort of tasteless humor, especially in a thread of this nature.

Whatever man. My Bolivian vacation will be fine. At least it's almost spring.

No, not "whatever man." This is a loud hint not to be an asshole. Take it and learn from it.
I thought that posting anonymously on the Internet meant you could state whatever you came to your mind. Whether it be a lame joke or a relevant point, and everything in between. I think people are to overly sensitive and I believe we live in a reactionary world instead of a proactive one. Too many in hindsights and not enough go out and do.
Never forget our Vets!! Some gave all, all gave some!
And immediately spitting your reaction out. Proactive is thinking before you do something and saying 'this is stupid maybe I shouldn't do it."
"I love him, he's a great coach, he's a great mentor, he's a great friend. He's every single thing you want a college coach to be, and he does it flawlessly." -David Molk
Condoning the actions taken by this person or persons. And I feel for the victim of this crime. As I have seen sexual assault destroy an army unit I was assigned to, and maybe for that reason I have become a little desensitized to it. But you either know right from wrong before getting oneself into such a situation. And apparently these young men lack that mental capacity. So whatever punishment or comments thrown at the person or persons involved sans the victim are deserved. So while I will not apologize for my off-handed remark. I will apologize for offending anyone. Again I apologize for offending anyone reading this forum.
Never forget our Vets!! Some gave all, all gave some!
Apologizing for offending someone is the lamest non-apology apology. "I wasn't wrong, but if you're too dumb to get my brilliant point and got offended then I'm sorry you lack my quick wit".
With athletes and sexual aggression, Does the extra testosterone that makes one a great athlete make one more likely to commit an act of sexual violence? Or maybe the "look the other way" culture of athletics? At any rate, as much as this topic has popped up (namely at MSU, OSU, ND and even here). Someone should probably take some pro-active steps to counsel these guys when they step on campus.
Omnes i facere est vincere
All athletes had mandatory sexual assault education that was pretty comprehensive. I would be surprised if the rest of the BIG didnt have it.
Athletes are probably presented with more opportunities to have consensual relations, and probably find themselves in dubious situations more frequently as well. They also spend a lot of time in a particularly male-centric subculture. Finally, when one of them does commit a crime, it's more likely to be widely reported.
Not sure we should blame it all on testosterone levels though. I seem to recall some study that said athletes actually commit crimes at the same or lower rates as equivalent non athletes.

Full-on Decatur Clan. Whatever happens, GO BLUE!

It sounds like she didn't report the incident until November.
