Those UM & Ann Arbor "Best of" Selections Keep Rolling In

Submitted by MGoUberBlue on

One of the journalists at Thrillist formed a list of the 25 most beautiful college campuses in American.  They were not ranked in order, but rather just listed.

As one would expect, the list is heavily weighted in favor of privates universities.  However Michigan was one of the 25, along with a few other public colleges.

It seems that our school and the town are very much in demand and admired.

What is Thrillist?  I really don't recall what I clicked yes to, but I receive their emails every day.

I meant to bring up Kenyon College in recent discussions about Ohio. I toured many campuses with my daughters and thought that Kenyon was about the most beautiful, except maybe UCLA and Pomona.

...the setting is very lovely.....

I live in LA and have been to UCLA's campus countless time. I think UCLA has a nice campus although I am not sure if I would go so far as to call it beautiful. It does have some very beautifully majestic buildings in the central part for sure. When I think beautiful, I think of campuses like Colgate, Princeton, William & Mary, Rhodes College, Chappel Hill....places with a nice blend of history, beautiful (and diverse) architecture, and a lovely setting. Although, you can't beat UCLA's weather 9/12 months of the year..=)
