Michigan titles 11 MSU  6 (2:1)

Find me a better big brother little brother... just because Boston win 5 titles in 20 years in a 6 team league before the yanks doesnt mean much when the yanks ripped off 26 to their 0 over the next 75 years... sounds a bit like we have a sawx fan

always watch them go head-to-head for laughs in Men At Work. Like watching Pacino and Deniro face off in Heat!

I can remember back in the Winter of 1993, walking in subzero temperatures to class at 8am at the Frieze Building (no pun intended).  The weatherman said not to leave skin exposed for more than 30 seconds so we wrapped our faces and trudged to class.  The damn kids today would have just skipped or, worse, attended class electronically through their takealong computers.  Sissies.

Couting the other three-year period in the '60's, MSU has been "better than Michigan" long enough for it to count for six years out of a hundred.

I guess that could count as "fifteen minutes of fame," but certainly not much more than that.  They sure do get a lot of mileage out of it, though.

You fellas just need to embrace the fact that in football and basketball, MSU is the superior program.

Name a position group on the field last Saturday where MSU wasn't superior. Like him or not Dantonio is running a fine program up there in EL.

I don't think the flag planting is allowed in the Big Ten anymore. If my memory serves me correctly, I think there was a big hubub following the ND/MSU game a few years back. Thank God for that.

really had 15 minutes of fame?

Its not like they haven't done anything to us that say......Iowa, Penn State, Purdue, Illinois,  and Ohio State haven't already done, or will have the chance to do.

2008 they went 9-4 and got punked by the only two good teams they played in the regular season, PSU and OSU,  by the combined score of 94-25.  Then lost another bowl game to Georgia.

2009 they went 6-7 and lost to Texas Tech in another bowl game and called it a succesful season.   And of course for the 2nd straight year had a post-season dorm brawl/ambush

They haven't won a bowl since 2001

So where exactly is the fame?
