“The player development is the main thing I like (about Michigan),” Williams said. “You can see that they develop their players. They get them in the gym and they work them hard. And their hard work pays off.”
I really like what Tim Hardaway Jr. did last year, and I have heard he has improved and gained experience playing in the U-20 Internationals. What I'm worried about is the point guard position, and how much we can score in the paint with the early exodus by Darius Morris.
days until Corey and the Wolverines take the floor against Wayne.
Somebody call Denarded or Boyz in Pahokee to make this an every night thread.
32 days until Corey and the Wolverines own the court against Wayne.
Burke is going to be just fine at the pg spot. He may come off the bench early, but I will be very surprised if he doesn't have at least as much impact as Aaron Craft had for OSU last season. This kid can play and will compliment Hardaway well.
I couldn't be more excited for the direction of this program...on a side note, has anybody else noticed the flurry of tweets about McGary? *fingers crossed*
Piecing together what I can from twitter (this is pure speculation)
Bacardi drops a tweet, something like "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!" which gets taken down a few minutes later.
Scout article comes out stating UofM is the big time leader in his recruitment and the Kentucky visit is likely off
Twitter is buzzing that he could be making a decision sooner than expected
I would say it is time to be optimistic.
His friends desmond and charles?
I don't have enough points to start a board post, but it seems there has been new developments with Mitch McGary. On scout, his interest for Michigan is now listed as high with the other teams still lurking at medium.
Also, (I'm not premium so haven't seen the actual article or material from it) Evan Daniel from scout posted a link to a McGary article on twitter. The responses on twitter to the article seem to imply the article discussed something along the lines of Michigan out in front.
Saw Dylan retweeted a message that McGary acknowledges the "blue collar" ethic of the Big Ten, but would rather run the floor. Someone needs to send him tape of Jordan Morgan running the floor like crazy last season. UofM as a whole likes to push tempo in transition under Beilein.
