Boy, not alot of optimism from this group.  Helmholdt even calls for a 5-7 season for us; very unlikely Rich Rod comes back with a repeat of last season's record.  I'm just going to take it game by game, but yeah, the UConn game could really set the tone for the season.  4 days left until hopefully we get back on track.

...when some retard (in this case, it appears to be John Borton), states that "this is a team that will have to out-score people enough to win."

Maybe I am out of the loop, but usually in sports, the team that scores the most does win...I don't know, maybe I am the retard and Borton knows what's up...

You ARE the ritard.

What Borton means, of course, is that Michigan's defense will be dung.

They'll have to average 43 points per game to have a winning record--and even that might not be enough.

What Borton says, and what EVERY objective person knows, is that this team and Rodriguez are hanging on hopes and prayers.

I actually think 5-7 or 6-6 is a fair prediction at this point. I would love nothing more then to go 7-5 or 8-4, but as it stands now, I can't see our secondary holding up against eight teams. The fact that James Rogers is slated to be covering the likes of Michael Floyd and DeVier Posey is downright frightening.
