I like the comment that says something like "Michigan's up by 20 in the fourth quarter and they haven't taken anyone out yet.  Take heed, UConn fans!"

I don't think they realize just how young/inexperienced/bad Michigan is and has been.  These kids need all the work they can get.

An unbelievable number of people are misinformed about stuff we assume is obvious.  Believe it or not, I recently had to explain to a self-described "huge fan" that no, Lloyd Carr was not lobbying for Les Miles to succeed him.  When I said that Lloyd and Les don't like each other at all, he looked at me like I was from Mars.

This one was similar (same one maybe?)

Michigan is up three scores in the 4th quarter and no one has left the game yet. UConn fans take heed.

Think this was referring to the fans. It was great today, have you ever seen so many people in the stadium early! I got there 45 minutes early and it was already pretty full. I know there was alot of hype for the rededication, but it was great to see. Go Blue.

Love other teams' blogs, since they tend to take the game seriously without freaking out.

I like the part when they thought DR was out, kept hoping DG was going to stay, then - crap - DR came back in.  Just good stuff.  And yeah, I am happy there is no public transcript from the liveblog.

"Our ball first.

Run it down their throats. Let’s go Huskies."

Followed by (after their 3 and out)...

"Or do that"

What's that? My 2nd favorite quote?

"not a happy camper right now

And the bartender is a michigan fan…in other news, she’s a smoking hot cougar"

I didn't know Rita Rodriguez was a bartender in Connecticut....

young mgoblogger (me), sat in the UConn student section, and there was only one fellow around me who know much about college football. Right when he saw Denard take the field, at QB, "Well, we aren't going to be stopping them anytime soon."

Turns out he was right

Denard made the entire UConn student section very aggrivated andI  sat their smiling, yelling, doing whatever I could to make the game more enjoyable, while they were hunched over sighing because they knew they can't/could not stop a fast QB.

I was surprised about how well they thought their O-line was playing.  Lots of comments about how they were "killing" us up front and "dominating."

I guess you see what you want to see.

yum
As bad as we’ve played, it goes a lot easier when you’re eating so much chocolate cake you drift into a sugar coma. But enough about me…

Watching this game, I had flashbacks to Oregon, App State, Syracuse, and all the other times when the other team made us look slow and plodding - only now we were doing it to the other team for a change.  It's pretty cool to be on this side.

3rd and long, deep in their territory, the 1st down to get inside the 10 (before he fumbled and lost yards), passing play, nothing there, so he just takes off up-field for the 1st down.  I turned to the guy next to me and said after seeing that happen to us for years, where we have the play covered perfectly, and some guy just says I'll take off for the 1st down, it's great to be doing it to other people.
