You should try living in Tuscaloosa.  It is bad enough that I cant wear my Michigan gear without someone saying under their breath, "Damn Yankee" but my wife is actually one of those insufferable Auburn fans.

Did you read the details of the Adidas contract?

Did you know it is the best college athletics sponsorships in the country, with a clause in there saying that no other Adidas contracts can be better?

Did you know that we make $7.5 million per year which is $3.5 million more than Nike, with a $6.5 million signing bonus that no other program had ever received (Nike programs included) at the time?  $66.5 million over 8 years?

Did you know John Falk spoke with his colleagues at every Adidas school and received no negative responses?

Did you know Adidas put two full time representatives in Ann Arbor to deal with mens and womens sports and that any other school only gets one?

I'm betting the answers are no, but thanks for playing.

Wrong.

I just care to do my research before shooting from the hip.

I don't care for the Adidas jerseys as much as the next guy, but I can live with them if it comes with this ridiculously awesome contract.

Phil Knight started with Oregon on his quest to absolutely ruin college football with those ridiculously ugly unis. When they got under the lights, TCU's lizard scale pants looked like they were sequined... VT had circuit boards in their numbers. Florida had a gator-print helmet... gator print... like a knock-off purse. I'd love to have Michigan's old Nike jerseys, but I'll take our current look over the Pro Combat any day.
