No doubt... My wife is seriously considering not buying glasses - and not looking at it at all - because she's scared shitless of getting imposter glasses that don't work. Her tinfoil hat has convinced her that company's are scamming people with glasses that are not designed for the solar glare.

My best friend in High School's dad went blind as a kid back in the 40's looking at the eclipse. Lost all frontal vision, could only see a bit on the peripheral.
And speaking of things totally unrelated to the topic at hand did you know that over 50% of the world's population has never made nor recieved a phone call in their life? Dont ask my why but that little factoid just astounds me.
