should be an electric atmosphere and will be a great opportunity for this team to show what they can do under Rich Rod with a long period of time to prepare for their opponent.

( '08 vs. Utah)

('09 vs. WMU)

('10 vs. UConn)

All three were the season openers and arguably the best defensive performance of each of those three seasons.

This is actually a really good point.  RR's teams at Michigan have consistently played their some of their best football (if not their best) in the opening game.  Cf., LC's teams, who consistently played poorly in the opening games.

Utah ended up being a damn good team in 2008.

For the sake of the argument he's making, they may actually be the most impressive team of the 3 listed even though we lost; considering how good they were and how bad we were in the fall of 2008.

You do remember 2008 right? If you don't, I'm actually envious of that.

I read his point and thought "why haven't i ever thought of or heard that argument before, that is a damn good point."

This actually made me more confident about the bowl game. Now there's a 95% chance we win!

Since we haven't been able to witness Rrod's preparation for a bowl, do we have any data accumulated yet on his bowl record?

I'm so excited I can't sleep!  This is out of control.  We are going to see the fastest team in college football!  MSU is about to see what speed and explosive violent power does to their SEC ego.

I have a feeling Mike Martin is going to have an Incredible Hulk moment.  Go Blue!!!

days until RICH RODRIGUEZ's Michigan team defends their own turf by blowing out Western.

Also there are...

days until D-Mo and Michigan bounce back from the Purdue loss to defeat Penn State.

That #9 is my favorite player on the roster.  He plays the game of football like it was meant to be played.  Of course I like the others such as Roy, Molk, DR, etc. but Tay is the man!  Just watch Dilithiums first ever TD......all you need to do is follow #9.  Glad we have the Pahokee pipeline!
