The Blue Barracuda

On the Big Ten Network yesterday they replayed the 2008 Michigan vs Wisconsin game. Steven Threet was at the helm and Sam McGuffie was the RB of the future. That team had so little talent, with a few exceptions, I dont know how they won any games. There is a ton of excitement and expectations for this year, but it made me take a step back and be thankful of how far the program has bounced back.

Who's got it better than us?

I have wondered what would have happned if T Pryor would have ended up at Michigan.  It really felt like that recruiting loss was the begging of the end...especially considering he would have came in and made an immediate impact.  It was a gut punch at the time.  After seeing Pryor's character I'm glad we didn't have him, but you also wonder if being at Michigan would have helped that side of his life as well. The good news is, we now have HARBAUGH!

...is the answer to your question.

My wife saw me watching the 2011 OSU game at the Big House and asked what year it was from.  She then asked why I was watching it.  My answer:

  1. We won
  2. I am getting ready for the regular season
  3. ???
  4. Profit

She walked away before 3 and 4, but I could hear her eyes rolling.

WIth the addiction I have to Brian's content during Game Week, I like to think of it as only 12 days until I am glued to the website to read all the great content and the official end of the OT Season........

How about Ronald Bellomy?? For god knows what reason, he is cemented into my brain as #19.

I have a few former players that I always think of when I see that number on a Michigan uniform, he has to be one of the most obscure.
