On the Big Ten Network yesterday they replayed the 2008 Michigan vs Wisconsin game. Steven Threet was at the helm and Sam McGuffie was the RB of the future. That team had so little talent, with a few exceptions, I dont know how they won any games. There is a ton of excitement and expectations for this year, but it made me take a step back and be thankful of how far the program has bounced back.
Who's got it better than us?

I don't know how we won anything in 2008, either. Wisconsin should have been a sure fire loss. We barely beat Miami University, too. The only great game was against Minnesota (29-6).

I have wondered what would have happned if T Pryor would have ended up at Michigan. It really felt like that recruiting loss was the begging of the end...especially considering he would have came in and made an immediate impact. It was a gut punch at the time. After seeing Pryor's character I'm glad we didn't have him, but you also wonder if being at Michigan would have helped that side of his life as well. The good news is, we now have HARBAUGH!

I don't think there was ever a reasonable chance of him coming here. Always seemed like he was locked into OSU and was enjoying taking his visits

We hung in there against that undefeated Utah team in Game 1 too. Boggles the mind how we didn't lose to them 40-0

...is the answer to your question.
My wife saw me watching the 2011 OSU game at the Big House and asked what year it was from. She then asked why I was watching it. My answer:
- We won
- I am getting ready for the regular season
- ???
- Profit
She walked away before 3 and 4, but I could hear her eyes rolling.

We have a great group and have merged with others over the years. Probably 50-60 strong at this point.

My second favorite Michigan kicker (just behind Ali-Haji Shiekh).

In the first 10 days of camp. Don't read too much into that pic that came out on Twitter. Dawson was with the one's too. Only because Kalis was dinged up a bit and had a red jersey on.

Most of the time he will be lined up in the slot. He may see some PT there this year.

WIth the addiction I have to Brian's content during Game Week, I like to think of it as only 12 days until I am glued to the website to read all the great content and the official end of the OT Season........

How about Ronald Bellomy?? For god knows what reason, he is cemented into my brain as #19.
I have a few former players that I always think of when I see that number on a Michigan uniform, he has to be one of the most obscure.

Can't remember the last time I was this pumped for the season to start. I think the RichRod/Hoke years did something bad to my brain.
