Speaking of the first weekend, there is a fantastic slate of games on that opening Saturday. Before those, there are even more Thursday and Friday games than I have ever seen.

Most of the Thursday and Friday games are real duds other than maybe the K State and Stanford one. Sure wouldn't mind seeing App State beat Tennessee though.

That Saturday lineup is just downright epic. Possibly the best opening day in years. Maybe ever.

Hell, even Sunday and Monday have potentially great games. Sunday is ND-Texas, and Monday is FSU-Ole Miss.

The fiancé will have a hard time getting me to move from the couch that weekend.
