True freshman Drew Dileo takes Jeremy Gallon's job as a return man and takes one to the house. Thanks for the daily posts though!
December 22nd, 2010 at 12:07 AM ^
started at kick returner vs. Wisconsin (Nov. 20), returning two kickoffs for 62 yards ... missed the Ohio State (Nov. 27) game due to injury.
I assumed he'd be back to start for the bowl.

What's up with all the negative mgopts? How do u vote/get them
December 22nd, 2010 at 7:37 AM ^
Michigan does not recruit PIMPs. We recruit football players.

Jeremy Gallon is made up of some sort of reverse-magnet polymer that attracts rubber.
December 22nd, 2010 at 9:15 AM ^
I'm really hooked and cant stop staring.
December 22nd, 2010 at 12:25 AM ^
M football bliss!
December 22nd, 2010 at 12:26 AM ^
Gallon is equal to a frosh Tay Odoms on special teams. Frustrating as HELL! Hope he grows into an Odoms though....BAMF!
December 22nd, 2010 at 9:01 AM ^
Is Odoms nightcrawler?
December 22nd, 2010 at 12:37 AM ^
Does anyone else remember Gallon Man from elementary school? I know that I would never have mastered quarts and liters without him. Clarkston schools FTW!
December 22nd, 2010 at 12:39 AM ^
How about 10 days till someone goes Tom Brady and has the game of their life in the New Years day bowl game against the SEC.
December 22nd, 2010 at 12:51 AM ^
The bowl game seems so close, yet it felt like an eternity last week. So Pumped!

Quit humping your podiums and turntables.

Sorry, I couldn't hear the OP over the use of glowsticks in normal lighting. if you wanna be hardcore, more rave and less school spirit imo. ;D

I don't get it. Is this one of those the medium is the message moments? If so, I guess I'll go buy some Axe spray now, k thanks.
December 22nd, 2010 at 8:22 AM ^
And the message is???
December 22nd, 2010 at 8:29 AM ^
Did they steal this from Bama's Rammer Jammer, or was it the other way around?
Either way, I'm impressed that neon colors and GlowStick technology finally reached Mississippi. Congrats to them; they're gonna LOVE the 1990's down there.
December 22nd, 2010 at 1:53 AM ^
Anyone else more pumped for the bowl game, rather than christmas. ;-| Ugh, this offseason will be terrible.
December 22nd, 2010 at 3:16 AM ^
if rich rod comes back nd they close out the recruiting class good, then the offseason should be great. Remember before all this controversy, 2011 was supposed to be Michigan's year, as long as RichRod comes back that shouldn't change. I see a bigger defensive improvement next year for sure
December 22nd, 2010 at 9:49 AM ^
Based on what? I hope next year isn't the primary consideration for what to do about the coaching. It won't be either. Brandon is looking long term. Heck even in the short term, the idea that we are going to pop out and be "dominant" next year is mere hope and extrapolation based on "returners". None of these returners made meaningful plays against good teams this year. Not even Denard Robinson. He couldn't even finish any of the games against good Big Ten teams because he kept getting too beat up.
So in reality there we are back to hope again. If we middle around next fall, the same group of people will be saying "look we are 8-4 and we have so and so back, we can't make a change." Then we are stuck mired in a mediocre pattern that never would have been acceptable under past coaches, but magically is evidence of future dominance with the current coach.
This guy is very likely over his head. I'd really like to be wrong, but there are enough people convinced who have real pull that this coaches' program is not going to make us a contender. Plus factor in the existence of a serious winner out there who is also an alum and it doesn't look good for Rich.

Relax child, CC talk is for the clearly marked CC thread. This is about excitement for the upcoming and final Michigan game of the year. Get on board Debbie Downer, or get out.
December 22nd, 2010 at 10:04 AM ^
Wow way to be negative and have no optimism for next year.
December 22nd, 2010 at 10:54 AM ^
A circumlocution for "UNACCEPTABLE!"
Stanford under Harbaugh has been "mired in a mediocre pattern" until this year. Guess they should have fired him after 3 years, too.

I can't wait to read your posts in August and next season. For now, I'll just quote the bottom of your posts and type WTF.
"Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise --- the other, loyalty." Fielding Yost
Where the FUCK is your character now? You are noise - annoying noise.

Nobody likes you. You changed your avatar to a hot chick instead of your face, which helped, but not much.

Oops, sorry for the miscomunication. I ment it as it will suck having to wait for next September before we see another game. Was a little buzzed while typing that up last night. ;p
December 22nd, 2010 at 7:57 AM ^
No wonder it seems like so long between some of the games.
December 22nd, 2010 at 8:00 AM ^
I'm sorry but I hope it's just 10 days until Gallon keeps the bench warm for Drew Dileo or someone else. I just have no faith in Gallon whatsoever.
December 22nd, 2010 at 8:11 AM ^
HOLD ON TO THE DAMN BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
December 22nd, 2010 at 8:23 AM ^
Gallon reminds me of James Whitley. I was a little young back in the day, but I still have nighmares of Whitley putting the ball on the ground.
December 22nd, 2010 at 8:27 AM ^
I really hope Gallon does take one to the house. All of the hate for him on this board is annoying.
December 22nd, 2010 at 10:49 AM ^
I seem to remember a year not too long ago when everybody was dropping/not catching balls on returns. Seems to me they were guys who have become very productive receivers. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Given confidence, practice and game experience, not feeling they have to prove everything in one play so that they run before they've caught... I trust Gallon will join the gang before him. Maybe even next week. Look forward to it.

It's like Christmas everyday when I get to open up "There are...."
December 22nd, 2010 at 9:17 AM ^
In response to some of the posts above - I have to seriously question any Michigan fan that thinks Gallon is a better return man than Dileo. He can actually hold on to the damn ball, get good yardage consistently and doesn't make dumb plays (dubbed "the Jeremy Gallon special").
Next year Gallon could have it all figured out - but right now, he does not.
December 22nd, 2010 at 10:05 AM ^
Yeah I agree. I will give him the benefit of the doubt though because he has looked pretty decent when playing at receiver. So who knows?
December 22nd, 2010 at 10:19 AM ^
Can't wait for the game and can't wait to watch Denard play, which is always fun to watch. Go Blue!
