Gallon is equal to a frosh Tay Odoms on special teams.  Frustrating as HELL!  Hope he grows into an Odoms though....BAMF!

Did they steal this from Bama's Rammer Jammer, or was it the other way around?

Either way, I'm impressed that neon colors and GlowStick technology finally reached Mississippi. Congrats to them; they're gonna LOVE the 1990's down there.

Based on what?  I hope next year isn't the primary consideration for what to do about the coaching. It won't be either. Brandon is looking long term.  Heck even in the short term, the idea that we are going to pop out and be "dominant" next year is mere hope and extrapolation based on "returners".  None of these returners made meaningful plays against good teams this year.  Not even Denard Robinson.  He couldn't even finish any of the games against good Big Ten teams because he kept getting too beat up.

So in reality there we are back to hope again.  If we middle around next fall, the same group of people will be saying "look we are 8-4 and we have so and so back, we can't make a change."  Then we are stuck mired in a mediocre pattern that never would have been acceptable under past coaches, but magically is evidence of future dominance with the current coach.

This guy is very likely over his head.  I'd really like to be wrong, but there are enough people convinced who have real pull that this coaches' program is not going to make us a contender.  Plus factor in the existence of a serious winner out there who is also an alum and it doesn't look good for Rich.

I can't wait to read your posts in August and next season.  For now, I'll just quote the bottom of your posts and type WTF.

"Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise --- the other, loyalty."  Fielding Yost

Where the FUCK is your character now?  You are noise - annoying noise.

I seem to remember a year not too long ago when everybody was dropping/not catching balls on returns.  Seems to me they were guys who have become very productive receivers.  (Correct me if I'm wrong.)  Given confidence, practice and game experience, not feeling they have to prove everything in one play so that they run before they've caught... I trust Gallon will join the gang before him.  Maybe even next week.  Look forward to it.

game walking away from the tunnel with his mother. He had his arm in a sling. When I wished him well, he was very appreciative. He is just a kid and we should give him credit for being out there and giving us his best. Hope he has a good bowl game.

In response to some of the posts above - I have to seriously question any Michigan fan that thinks Gallon is a better return man than Dileo.  He can actually hold on to the damn ball, get good yardage consistently and doesn't make dumb plays (dubbed "the Jeremy Gallon special").

Next year Gallon could have it all figured out - but right now, he does not.
