Hackett and Harbaugh are bringing to Michigan that people show up to games on time... And be loud for a change. I know some of the issue with loudness is acoustics, but come on...

Always made me wake up early for breakfast and then get to the stadium early as hell... And we were always some of the last fans to leave. That has stuck with me my entire life... Wolverine games all of types, Tigers, Wings, and sigh... Even Lions. He told me to enjoy the game I must have respect for the game and those who play the game. He also said its easier for a team who is behind to make a come back for a fans who cheer than those who run in fear.

summer was the best, obviously.  Now I find myself wishing it to be over almost around June when NHL/NBA seasons end.  Just nothing going on in the sports world besides the Tigers stinkin it up until college football is back

Unless you're a student or teacher, summer is essentially meaningless.  Also, I prefer the cold to the heat as you can always put a sweater on if it gets chilly.  But take your pants off in the summer and all of a sudden it's "prevert" this and "sex offender" that.  Big pain in the ass.

It is hard to believe that we're already on the back end of July and heading quickly into August, but of course that means football is approaching and soon the board will be alive with all the rampant speculation that camp brings, most of which will revolve around the slow but sure formation of the depth chart, which may or may not be the depth chart per se. I guess I better work on the "End Of OT Season" diary, which traditionally goes up on the weekend before the first game, so there are roughly 5 weeks of OT season left.

Agree.  Can't wait for "Countdown To Kickoff" to start.  As sad as it is, my house has a countdown to "Countdown To Kickoff."  My wife and I watch it every morning on the iPad before we get out of bed.

Here's to over-analyzing every fleeting video clip of the Oklahoma Drill and scrimmage snaps.

Me and my son were at King H.S. Saturday and watched PAL vs. Pop Warner football. We watched the C & B teams of the Eastside Raiders and Detroit Titans. Those young dudes were ballin.

Do we report to camp on the 7th?

Unless you are a baseball super-nerd, July is the worst sports month. The anticipation for football is palpable. The only sport being played is baseball, in the doldrums of their marathon season, of which I seriously pay attention to one team. Some people love summer, but give me fall any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Just checking out the schedule to plan a surprise wife day. We have back to back bye weeks! Longest 14 days ever!

Other than baseball & golf always get excited once training camp opens in NFL & preseason starts at least for the Lions anyways. BTN doing there training camp reports mainly pay attention to Michigan & MSU. Bring on fall Go Blue.
