one day until the center of college basketball in the State of Michigan clearly shifts back to Ann Arbor where it should always have been!

a 1/8 capacity Michigan State crowd.  Not due to our fans lack of interest, more due to Spring Break and due to the amount of MSU interest in basketball.  Unlike previous years (when it was more like 1/3), I don't expect it to be a very vocal crew.  It's pins and needles in East Lansing right now.

If they win however, just remember, violence is not the answer!!.  (and they will give you reason to consider it)

Things to remember:

  1. Be loud.  It's spring break and the student section will probably be thinly populated.  The rest of you need to pick up the slack.
  2. Don't rush the floor.  Should the day favor us, cheer loudly from your seat, but don't rush the floor as if we just won the Big 10 conference.  This will be a big win, certainly, but keep it in perspective.  Trust me, treating MSU as just another opponent gets under their skin more than anything.
  3. Be cvil to visiting fans.  Granted, Sparty would never pay you the same courtesy (see Night of the Juggalos), but remember, boorish behavior is their thing, not ours and that's why we're better.
  4. Show your team your appreciation, regardless of the outcome.  This has been a fun season.

If the Wolverines do infact win tomorrow, I think there will be a huge collective gasp before the  exuberant cheers. After all, we are a bubble team.....every little (and huge) win helps now.
