Thank you, Michigan fans who were at the game!

There was no missing the Michigan contingent tonight. There were multiple times when you guys seemed to add to the wave of maize and blue that crushed A&M. Stay loud on Saturday, my friends!

Surely it wasn't as loud as New York, was it? It makes you wonder if there is another institution with such a presence. During the post game interview Mo commented on the crowd; he was genuinely surprised Michigan was so popular from coast to coast.

I was there today (live in LA) and was at the Nebraska/MSU games at MSG (visiting friends in NYC).

I'd say it was close in terms of pure UM fan volume, maybe a slight edge tonight, but much more of an advantage because in New York MSU also had a solid contingent so it felt neutral but this truly felt like a home game. MSG was louder overall for the MSU game, but that was due to lots of Sparty noise. Michigan fans alone were probably louder today.

I think the game most apt to compare would be the Purdue BTT game, but I can't speak to that one, had to leave Sunday afternoon.

Anyways, I'd give LA a very slight edge (West Coast, Best Coast), but both were incredible. We are a part of the most universal alumni base/fanbase in the US!

Brought a non-sports fan date to the game. Before we got out of the Uber at Staples I said, "prepare yourself for a fuck ton of Michigan fans". She asked, "a fuck ton?". I replied, "yep".

We walked into yard house for a beer about 90 minutes before the game. She looked at me and said, " there are a FUCK TON of Michigan fans here".

It was fantastic. Madison Square Garden West.

What about Oregon? If Washington is included, those Portlandian Wolverines better make it down!

So proud of the West Coast Wolverine contingent!

I chipped in as best I could. It was loud and if I had to guess I’d say the crowd was at least 75% UM, possibly more. I’ll be there again on Saturday rooting for M. Full disclosure: I’m an IU b-ball fan (Alum, grew up in Indy) but since Michigan is in the B10 and I’m a huge Wolverine football fan (season tix since ‘92) I’d like to see them win it all this year. I was telling everyone I know before the tourney started I thought Michigan was going to win it, after seeing them in person I’m even more confident.
