thank you MGOBLOG!!!
for the last 9 months i have been out of work until today... granted i got a job doing something that i thought i would never have to go back to, cooking... but its a job and its better then sitting on my ass at home all day doing nothing... i would like to thank the fine fine people here at MGOBLOG that have gotten me through the last 9 months...
Can I get curly fries instead of regular fries with that?
are a douche...
congrats on the job OP, getting a job is a great thing to celebrate, regardless what it is.
srsly
i can only take a single point from you
Save me the trouble of neg on sight.
Home can become a boring place when you are outta work (I was out of work for 3+ months in 2003/4)
where are you cooking at?
irish sports pub in walled lake...
Congratulations on the job, I know how hard it is to find a decent job here in Michigan.
something when the wife gave me that look plus an ultimadum...
Glad to hear it.
But don't bad-mouth sitting on one's ass. It's the only thing I'm qualified for, and I have a whole weekend of it planned out ahead of me.
Charlie Weiss is that you?
don't forget to donate to MGoBlog with your new found riches after months of freeloading.
on doing that... hell i might even do it tonight if i have couple more miller lites...
I thought you were in Michigan...
You need to nut up and grab some Budweiser or Labatt's.
Budweiser of St. Louis or Labatts of Canada?
cases of miller lite left over from a family party back in january so thats why i am drinking it... if it was up to me i would be hitting up kroger and grabbing 2 6 packs of labatt 50(the canadians will know this beer) or doing it up in style with a dirty 30 of PBR!!!
I'm really happy you found a job, I too may have to go back to cooking if I don't find some kind of work quickly. If I am ever in Walled Lake I will make sure I drop by and buy you a beer after you get off work!!
i'm always up for a beer or 10 after i get done working... best thing is this place is 5 mins away from my house...
I hope I never find the unemployment line, but if I do I am going to parlay my brewing hobby into a job... and if there are no brewing jobs out there, at least I will have lots of beer to kill the pain.
Always good to hear about someone getting back on their feet.
... Finding a job in Michigan isn't easy right now.
Congrats on the job! I also agree that Mgoblog is the best. I've been layed up all week after surgery, with two more left to go, and this blog has been a great way to keep myself distracted.
i love mgoblog and gobluewolverine. when this damn economy improves we'll all be better off.
than sitting on your ass. Congratulations! I'm happy for you. Throw down some "pops" tonight. They taste better when you're working. Make sure to spruce up the pub with some Maize & Blue too!
When I worked as a waiter we couldn't drink while on shift...but after shift we got 30 percent drink and food discounts! Congrats on the getting the job!

Congrats, sir--best of luck to you. Michigan continues to improve, and you will reap the rewards.
Congrats on the new job and for toughing it out the past 9 months!
It's been quite a week. You got a new job. Five straight days of sunshine. And we're headed for temps in the mid-40s.
Life is good.
Congrats. It sucks to be out of work, and looking for a job is one of my least favorite endeavors. Glad to hear you found employment.
My congratulations to you. Good luck!
