This is a HUGE deal to get Zach Gentry on campus this weekend. Kid has been a Texas commit for awhile, and even with Alabama trying to get him, still stayed true to his Texas commit.

Texas fans aren't total scumbags. They don't like us sniffing around their potential QB, but most of the comments I read were respectful and well reasoned.

The allure of playing for a coach like Jim Harbaugh is undeniable. Despite their recent struggles, Michigan is arguably the most recognized college football program after Texas.

those schools the other way around, but that was nice for a Texas writer.
Even reading the comments I didn't hear any of the anti-Harbaugh BS that you get from OSU and MSU people. The Texas fans are predicting that Michigan is going to kick some serious ass in short order.

Apparently the Texas coaches pissed of Gentry. Was told he was the guy then started recruiting 5* Texas A&M commit Kyle Murray. Hasn't spoke to them in a few weeks. Our chances just got a little better.

Does anyone have Gentry's senior film? I watched his junior film and to be honest the ball seemed to take forver to get to the target on every throw, but perhaps he improved on this his senior year. But I didn't see one throw on his junior film I would call an "NFL throw." Contrast this with Malzone, who has a highlight reel full of NFL throws. Of course, Malzone didn't rush for 1,057 yards and 22 TDs like Gentry did, so there's that.
