I didn't always feel compelled to root for Big Ten teams (particularly MSU, OSU) in OOC/Bowl games until I spent time in the south.  I still don't root for OSU, no matter what.  When they play the SEC, I just look away (and it's worked!)

I got Baylor with 18 confidence points. My ballot for the pool is already effed in the A so if Illinois wins I wouldn't mind. State of my birth, makes our opponents looks stronger, and B1G representin.

But I suddenly have 0 confidence in it after watching Missouri muck around vs. Iowa last night. The B12 may just blow.

I have no problem with acronyms.

However, I usually don't laugh (maybe never, in fact), either before or after I've typed out a comment.  If I did, I'd probably avoid the use of "lol" because I see it as presumptuous.

To each his own.

Thanks, BTW, for answering my question.  I was genuinely curious.

Will they push the game to ESPN2 or wait until the ECU Getting Run Over By a Tank Bowl is over?

Edit: Scrolling at bottom now. It is on ESPN  Classic and ESPN3.com

Vs. Baylor. Dodging the B12 for MSU South probably is doing us no favors.

<br>Oh, game's on regular ESPN now too.

to stream a bowl game where I can officially root for the Big Ten but know that the sky will not fall and lives will not be destroyed and blogs will not crumble into semi-terminal angst if one team wins or the other.  Can just focus on a nice play, a pretty pass, a perfectly timed tackle, and think how lovely it is that these young men can play a game in December.

And do something else at the same time because it's no big deal if I miss anything.

that's TUOS and Arizona State with Jake Plummer. That Buckeye team is incredibly talented... and they play dumb. I really miss Stanley Jackson, but the dumb plays are really spread out. It's a team stupidity effort.

Meanwhile Illinois is looking good. 16-0.

Good memory!

A couple of slips on both sides so far. OSU is clearly superior, except for Plummer. ASU does have a fast defense... but the Bucks should have rolled those guys. The QB swapping, the cute plays that don't work, the multiple defensive offsides... they kept the Devils in it.

Some names: Jackson and Germaine at QB, David Boston, Orlando Pace, the Big Katz, Shawn Springs, Antoine Winfield.  And it was 7-7 at half.

I really liked watching Iowa represent well last night, and Illinois looks good. I hope the Big Ten is undefeated in bowls this year. Is it possible that RR happened to join the Big Ten just as we were getting back to the best conference in the nation? In my mind, the better the B10 does, the more likely RR keeps his job. Is that nuts or what?

OOOOOhhhh --- nevermind. Almost a big fumble on the punt return.

A better Big Ten only makes it harder, not easier for Michigan. And particularly OSU and MSU winning does us no favors in recruiting. If you're a Big Ten fan (whatever that is), swell. An undefeated Big Ten doesn't help Michigan a lick unless you're hanging with a lot of SEC fans.

Baylor alum are usually ones to avoid here in HTown unless of course you need a decent job. They do tend to be wide-eyed and firm believers. However, they have a hell of hospital system here in Texas along with a decent Med School in HTown.

Maybe Nebraska will not be as daunting as originally thought.  Several writers have them as the early favorites for the Legends division (Big 10 Northwest) next year.
