In the human polls, we're already the lowest ranked two loss team from an AQ conference. Even if that doesn't change, hopefully we'll at least move ahead of any three loss teams (B10 loser, UGA and OU if they lose).

In Mad Hatter land somewhere, there is a plot being developed to throw the SEC Championship game, allow Georgia into the Sugar Bowl, keep the BCS Championship game versus Alabama alive, and exact revenge on that school in Michigan for never offering him the job.  SEC still gets title game and more money thanks to a 3rd BCS team and Michigan gets Gator Bowl and less money.

Ok, it sounds much farther fetched now that I wrote it down...

I put in every game being an upset* just to see what the simulator would spit out:

BCS Title Game: LSU vs. Alabama

Rose Bowl: UCLA vs. MSU

Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma vs. Michigan

Sugar Bowl: Georgia vs. Stanford

Orange Bowl: Clemson vs. Louisville

*using point spread to determine an upset (FYI, OU is a 3 point 'dog to OSU)

I think you'll see a huge argument in favor of OK St if they beat OU, especially if they do it handily.

Alabama has 1 top 25 win, with an OU win OK St will have 5.

You're already seeing writers start to turn on the idea of a rematch.

I wonder what happens if something weird happens politically and suddenly the voters drop Alabama without any explanation.  Not that I've ever seen this sort of thing go down before or anything...

LSU is a lock for the NC regardless of what happens in the SEC championship game.  If Georgia somehow stomps them (unlikely I know)  I would think LSU would drop out of the top 2 and any potential BCS game.  Basically, I think if SEC championship game is a route either way, it doesn't matter who wins.

And Iowa State upsets Kansas State (a fairly possible upset, at least), then the predictor thing has us against the winner of Okalahoma/Okalahoma State, assuming all the rest of the matches proceed as expected. I wouldn't mind that.
