Terry Foster back on his meds
Unbelievable that this is the same guy who trashed Rodriguez and Michigan on Saturday night after the Iowa game. Now, he's talking about "moral victories" and "being in good shape."

Foster is usually quite fair and balanced. I'm definitely not saying I always agree with him, but he does his research and tries to stay as objective as he can. In addition, if you write him about his columns, you will more often than not get a thoughtful response.
This column is a good example. He isn't creating anything that isn't there like a few of his fellow "reporters" from the other paper do. He is giving an opnion that doesn't sound like it came from either a fan or a malcontent. That is pretty much all you can ask.

His Saturday nite piece was full of knee-jerk armchair speculation. I read most of it while shaking my head.

Seriously -- that Saturday article was a steaming pile. I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't a Freep writer.

All Foster did in his article yesterday was try to create something that wasn't there! It was a 100% malcontent, unresearched, biased load of crap. You should check it out b/c today's column looks like an attempt to kiss ass more than anything else.

MAKE PLAYS!
I actually listened to his famous post-ND rant again at halftime of the game Saturday. It's always good for a few laughs.

Bipolar might be a bit far, considering that the editors are the ones who write the headlines. He (Foster) submits his writing; the headline is out of his hands. Methinks the DetNews higher ups see some Freep-like venom coming there way, and want to make damn sure they spin this latest article as hard as possible in a pro-Michigan light. . . to counterbalance the somehwhat harsh pieces turned in by TF from Iowa City Saturday night.
