Teric Jones - Position Next Year
Just wondering if anyone has heard any news regarding him? If I remember correctly he saw some snaps at CB throughout the year, specifically against Delaware St. Do you think he will stay at CB next year? I know he isn't a proven talent at CB yet, but it might help out with our secondary needs next year. Just haven't heard any news on him lately...

From what I've heard he has been decent at corner, their is a logjam at RB so I imagine he will continue playing defense and he is to small for safety.

he'll stay at corner. he has a lot of talent, but little experience.

teric will play the position that gets him the best chance of seeing the field, doesn't matter if it's CB, RB, QB, PG or LW (!), etc. i know i know, another in-depth analysis from turbo cool...

Yes, he is willing to play for Red if that means getting some PT.

anything that can get him the M letterman jacket. apparently EVEN booboo has been taunting him about it.

He was recruited to play slot receiver, so the logjam at RB is somewhat irrelevant.
However, since there's going to be a logjam at slot and we'll still probably be thin at CB, I'd expect him to stay on the defensive side of the ball next year. I wonder if he might become a guy who, like James Rogers, flip-flops back and forth between offense and defense for his entire career...

He has a long way to go to see significant time at cornerback. Delware State managed most of their passing stats throwing at him. His technique is just very, very poor right now.
