Butch Jones is a piece of shit.

He called one of his players a "traitor" for reporting sexual assault.

The guy has always been a sleazeball. Some of the stories I've head from his days in Mouth Pleasant would make anyone cringe. I hope we end up playing them down the road and Harbaugh gives him the Jim Schwartz treatment.

You know you're a piece of shit when WD called you one and not one single person downvotes him.

Shut this thread down, history has been made. It is official, Butch Jones = piece of shit.

(and not I'm being sarcastic...you must really suck for this to play out the way it did)

Texas A&M and Kevin Sumlin said similar things. I think the SEC as a whole said if they weren't made illegal then they would participate as well. They just wanted it to be easier for them, kids be damned.

The NCAA must be thinking 'An SEC team was going to hold satellite camps, so not only must we bring them back, but they should be mandatory.'

I think a few other schools dabbled in satellite camps, is that correct? But who would be in the "many"? There were few besides Michigan. And of those, what assistants would talk to Tennessee staff members and say "yeah it's too much, I don't like doing it." That would be criticizing the head coach's decision to do that at all. I'm calling bullshit on that statement. “I’ve not been a proponent of satellite camps. I think they’re so much, and ironically we’ve spoken to many schools that have done the satellite camps, and quietly their assistant coaches were tired and wore out and didn’t approve of it. So I thought a right decision was made there."

I do remember that.  That would have been awful...

And somehow, I don't see any of Harbaugh's assistants saying anything like that.  They're all probably just as pissed as Harbaugh probably is.  I can't see any of them shirking anything, or Harbaugh would not have them on the staff...

Yeah, I mean I think this highlights the crux of the issue from their point of view.  They didn't want to hold the camps but would have had to if everyone else was gonna do it.
