Ted Ginn Sr...a Michigan man!?

Submitted by k06em01 on

For those that saw the Latwan Anderson video on rivals, this is old news...but for those that didn't...

Latwan Anderson specifically said that his glenville high head coach Ted Ginn Sr. has been encouraging him to take an official visit to Michigan. This seems surprising, seeing as Ted Ginn Sr. has been so pro-OSU and anti-UofM over the years. But...

It turns out that Ted Ginn Sr.'s beef was with Lloyd Carr, and it was over his misuse of Pierre Woods (even though Pierre still talks very highly of Lloyd, and credits him for making him a better, more mature man).

Ted Ginn Sr. has a great relationship with RichRod going back to his wvu days, and now that Lloyd is gone, Glenville high is again open for Michigan business.

You know I actually have to give him a little bit of credit. The guy got bashed hard yesterday and yet he's right back here with the same enthusiasm. If I could +1 him I probably would(although from what I hear I am sure hes has already done it himself.) Maybe some of his enthusiasm needs to catch on, remember we are all supposed to be all in for Michigan.

you know, every michigan football board is more or less the same. there are those that post...relevant news/links/rumors/etc. from scout, rivals and elsewhere and on occassion post an idea of their own in order to share knowledge with the rest of the board. for every one of those posters, there are usually a about thousand that never have any ideas of their own to post, and do nothing but criticize the ideas of others.

i realize exactly what you are, and i don't care about your criticisms, and that's why none of you like me...and i don't care. most of you never even played high school football, and i'm guessing that none of you played college football. like most typical michigan fans, you were high school quiz bowlers/band geeks/cross country runners and soccer players. but then, after watching six games your freshman year at the uofm, you all rightfully declared yourselves experts of michigan football...and you haven't shut up since.

i'm here to share information i read that hasn't been posted yet, and to post ideas of my own that i think are worth sharing. i don't care if the negative idiots with no ideas of their own hate on me for it...but i know that it bugs the hell out you that i don't care...and it really bugs the hell out of you that the mods have been giving me bonus points.

thats why you are all sitting at your computers, desperately waiting for me to post again, so you can rush to neg me, regardless of the quality or content of my post. that is why so many of you have been tracking my voting records so vehemently. that is why so many of you have been searching through the internet for my sources...scanning them...red markering them...and reposting them. that is why so many of you have been spending hours going through all of my old posts and negging them. don't you realized that you've all become obsessed with me!? maybe you should calm down, take a step back, and gain some sanity.

well, here's the newsflash. as long as my point total stays over 20 points, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT MY MGOPOINTS (as posting this proves...as it will certainly result in a negative 1, 2 or 300 mgopoints). If my mgopoints ever go below 20, i will simply make a new name. Beyond 20 points, there is no advantage to mgopoints. that's what some of you point-obsessed nut jobs need to realize. trust me, no one is going to think that you're "cool" because you have 2,000 mgopoints. You're not going to get any dates. (ps - i only neg bang so much bc i hate you all so much).

so there, thats all i have to say. i'm going to keep doing what i'm doing. and you're probably all going to keep doing what you're doing. and i don't give a shit.

peace.

so...instead of responding to the threads that you do like (and bumping them to the top of the board), you instead criticize a thread you don't like (and bump that to the top of the board...and burrying the thread you do like even lower). makes sense.

take a look at the board. there are 46 threads on the first page...

- 15 are about michigan sports, and/or current or former players and coaches.
- 13 are about notre dame.
- 4 are about tiger woods cheating on his wife.
- 3 are about non-michigan matchups.
- 2 are about michigan state.
- 2 are about the board itself
- 1 is about 'your favorite browser'

and i am getting ripped here for posting about the head coach of a major talent producing high school, in a major recruiting state, that seems to have a great deal of influence on where his players go, that hasn't advised a player to go to michigan since pierre woods, that is now advising a player to go to michigan.

yeah, i'm really ruining the board.

That only lists ten threads and the order in which they were posted, not responded to. It's generally more useful than the main Mgoboard page because that way you can avoid two people continuing a conversation on an otherwise forgotten thread and simply see the up-to-date stuff.

since you replied to me I will assume you were talking to me. As far as if I have played any athletics? Yes, I was the captain of my football, basketball, and track teams. Went to the Michigan state finals in the 100 meter dash, was offered a scholarship as a corner/kick returner to a couple d-2 schools, and walked on(for one season) on to my school's basketball team. While I am not the modern day athlete I love sports and always have. I am an electrical engineer and maybe school did take precedence over practice, I don't know. I think most people on here have a pretty good grasp on how to play football or other sports.

You are right Mgopoints mean nothing if you have 20. Unfortunately, if you meant that you would not be up voting your own OP all the time. That is why people give you a hard time. Plus the fact that you don't always report new news. I generally don't respond to terrorists or melt-down posts but since you asked I figured I would give my 2-cents on the matter. If you truly don't care, like you say, then stop whining.

I am going to run through your post real correct. Please correct me if I misinterpret anything you write.

1. All Michigan boards, including this one, are mainly populated by idiots who are only here to belittle whatever interesting idea that pops up and contradicts the party line.

2. None of us played football, and were generally nerds in high school who don't know anything about the game. (Question: What exactly does this have to do with understanding the relationship between Ted Ginn Sr. and UM?)

3. You post information that you have read (and don't provide sources) and we belittle it because we suck and you don't.

4. You don't care what we idiots think about you, but you're going to spend your time belittling us even though you could care less what we think.

5. We spend our time waiting for you to post unsourced information from unreliable places and then call you on it and we're obsessed with you (note: I don't actually know what you've posted in the past and don't really have a clue who you are, but it seems to me that if you post unsourced information from The Fort, then you should be belittled for doing so).

6. You don't care about Mgopoints, despite mentioning them heavily in your post, but negbang all of us with regularity because you hate all of us, even though you don't care what we think and you don't care about Mgopoints.

7. You're going to continue posting unsourced information from places that aren't credible and you don't care whether we continue to belittle you for doing so even though you hate us and don't care what we think.

Out of curiosity, do you realize that you come across as a fourth grader?

It's not that we don't like you. It's that we don't like what you do. There's a difference.

You're not particularly offensive. You haven't seemed that annoying (until this very post) other than the fact that you a) start a billion threads, b) offer very little original insight, and c) include some sort of chart in 75% of your posts.

You are welcome here. Nobody is saying you should leave. But if you're posting things that you find interesting and a large number of people on the board don't find it interesting, then maybe you should keep it to yourself. Or if you don't have anything new to say, then you could just sit there and read what other people have to say.

You are an enthusiastic Michigan fan, and that's great. It doesn't mean you should start a bunch of redundant threads.

I don't like to down-vote, but I will take the opportunity on the sad occasion that someone shows a lack of respect for the rights of others to participate in something they enjoy. You are showing the very lack of respect that you accuse others of directing at you.

We are all here to share in something that gives us joy and some reprieve from our daily stresses. Yes, I may not have played football - the main problem being that I'm a 5-foot-tall woman - but it doesn't mean that I - or anyone else here - shouldn't be able to share in our collective love for sports and the University of Michigan. I for one will continue to do so in a regular fashion.

Paragraph 2. I know countless people like this. I liked your post on visitors this weekend and most of the things you post are somewhat entertaining. Calling out an entire blogoshpere is a bad idea, though. Keep fighting the good fight. I guess.

most of you never even played high school football, and i'm guessing that none of you played college football.

No but I can run a nasty triple option in the Xbox game and I can make a depth chart like its cool.

thats why you are all sitting at your computers, desperately waiting for me to post again, so you can rush to neg me, regardless of the quality or content of my post.

Do you really think this? God you suck.

If my mgopoints ever go below 20, i will simply make a new name

I would like, take a hint or something.

trust me, no one is going to think that you're "cool" because you have 2,000 mgopoints. You're not going to get any dates.

Dates? Absolutely not. Random bangs? Absolutely yes. Slutty girls love big mgopoint totals.

Did I mention that you suck and that when you make a giant ass ranting post that ends with "I don't give a shit" it generally means you do give a shit because it made you so angry?

I hope your right, we could really use a pipeline to Glenville. Although it didnt really seem to work last year with Marcus Hall

I think his main goal is to get his players college scholarships. I'm sure he roots for OSU, his son having played there and all, but I don't think he's just some OSU lackey. He's a good guy in my view.

Posters like this make me wanna drink until i wake up naked in an alley with a hooker named Burmuda(without a condom) and Michigan is kicking off 2010....Sorry for no grammer at all and any mispellings, I was graced with the pleasure of the new Blue Raspberry Four Loko :)
