The only former staff member who deserves potshots is David Brandon. I am giving Hoke and his assistants a "hall pass" when it comes to what happened the last four years. I still think DB called the shots on offense. I sure would have loved to hear Nuss' "interview" with McElwain.

Personally, I don't think Hoke or his staff were qualified to handle this program. You can't blame someone for taking a job that they're offered, though. Honestly, how many of the people who read this blog would turn down the Michigan Head Coach position if they were offered a $3,000,000/yr salary? Not many. At the time it seemed that Harbaugh wanted to try the NFL, and that may have been the case. Ultimately, Brandon is at fault. He knew that no matter what else he did, he would be graded on the Head Coach hire.
