I still don't know how they overturned the Fitz touchdown. Get your cameras on the goal line! Refs apparently can't handle looking at two angles.

There is no way that there was INDISPUTABLE video evidence to overturn that call. The ruling on the field should have held, Touchdown, Game over!

Yeah, was just thinking that. On that angle they keep showing of him being "short" by freezing it when his knee is down, you can clearly see his knee keep moving towards the ground on the next frame, at which point the ball is over the line.
Oh well, glad it turned out or I would be without a TV right now.

I'm glad I was at this game and didn't have to hear Chris Spielman bash Michigan constantly. Would of had to mute the TV in the 1st quarter

To be fair, Jake Ryan did breakout during last year's spring game. In all liklihood he has doing the same in practice, but the game can still show us something.

Good call on the Shiner...I'm going with Goose Island 312, saw it mentioned in one of the drinking threads and then saw it in stores and decided to give it a go...perfect for a sunny 70+ degree afternoon.

Is it just me or are the numbers on the helmets a different color than the wings? Wonder why.

Yes. There are actually 4 different colors of maize on the unis, which you can see on a cloudy day: Helmet wings, pants, jersey numbers, helmet numbers.
This drives me nuts. We're an elite program that brings in millions, not a backwater Jr. High School team. Dave Brandon, is it too much to ask to get it to just a single matching color?

Crappy weather, low attendance. Not exacttly a recruiting poster.
Good thing our new mode of operation is to have a fully committed class before the spring game anyway.

I don't know if it's any less attendance than past years - the difference is that the edge seats (around the endzone) are wet - people are higer up on the 50 yard line this year it seems. The weather is also not very bad, much better than past years.

Yeah, I know. But just for once I'd like to see one of those 92,000 attendance games on a sunny 72 degree day that wow's some uncommitted 5-star to commit to us out of the blue. Just being greedy.
